More interesting than I taught. I'm not into art, but it was really a surprise for me to be into it. Worth the price. If you got children, they got a beautiful place for them with you and crafts.

This extensive collection of NB artifacts is Canada's oldest continuing museum, with roots back to 1842! It is currently closed and in transition while a new building is designed, which will nestle around the original, grand 1934 building on Douglas Avenue. The new NB Museum is destined to become one of the best attractions in the Province of NB!

I really enjoyed going to this museum several years ago when I was in Uptown Saint John. It reminded me of the Maine State Museum (I live in Maine)

A lot of information and well laid out. The staff on hand are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. It's very reasonably priced too (although the gift shop was less so)

For a small city museum it's really good. I thought it'd be like a natural history museum but really it's a bit of everything. There's local history, local biology, a gallery of amazing art, and some really excellent geology exhibits too. If you're fascinated by birds or whales you'll really like their second floor. There's an elevator and stairs, it was easy to get around for us, though it was not busy when we went. Not a bad way to spend a couple hours downtown.

Wonderful experience. Beautifully laid out, easy to get around. Loved the heritage displays and photos. Wonderful little theater with films of various aspects of Fundy Bay. Great little gift shop with items from area craftsmen including pottery, tartan shawls, jewelry and books. Reasonable price.

We took a day trip to St John and love museum to give you info on the place you are in. This was a beautiful museum. Staff was lovely, the exhibits where well put together and very informative. They change them and we wil be back to see the others. It is right downtown in a nice little mall you can walk about and what f you go outside you see the harbour and cam walk though the downtown core. Great place.

Always a pleasure to visit. We used to drive to Saint John a couple of times a year to go to the museum with our girls. That was a while ago. Went today and as exciting as ever. So many interesting facets to explore and beautifully displayed.

Great place for kids. Lots of exhibits focusing on different parts of the maritimes. They have several skeletons and an art floor. They don't have any real specialty and just tend to do whatever. Considering it's only a small province I'm not really surprised

The New Brunswick Musiem is beautiful and such a great place to bring the whole family and has a lot of research and time put into their facility. This has to be on of the most beautiful places in Brunswick square. I was only in there one time. I believe that it is 10 dollars to enter and they may have family specials but I'm not sure.
All I can say is wow! This place with all their collection of history and monuments; I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to get a great day and see things that you may never get to see. It's a great place to bring the whole family and kids as well as a nice relaxing daytime outing to bring a significant other. Very beautiful musiem...

Plan an all day visit, so many great historical displays for Saint John and all industries in New Brunswick. The history of life in New Brunswick years ago is perfectly depicted and described. There is even a great activity centre for children.
