Wonderful dog friendly business!
Great music to vibe to.
Coffee is of course great.
I had a power bar and a moose(med) sticky toffee caramel latte. Which came to just over $10.
The person at the counter greeted me and my dog right away and offered a treat which imo is excellent customer service. 👌 10/10 experience.

Delicious coffee, delicious oatcakes, and raspberry muffins! The staff are super friendly and helpful. And the Adirondack chairs outside are perfect place to sit to enjoy our coffee and some sunshine.

Stopped in to grab some local beans on our way out of town. Wished we could have stayed and enjoyed a coffee here - this place is really charming. The staff were helpful and prompt and the coffee and snack selection was bigger than most coffee roasters I’ve seen.

We grabbed a small bag of their Bay of Fundy (medium roast) whole beans.

Such friendly people! They have an array of drip coffee flavours and I loved mochanut.

I didn’t eat anything so I can’t really comment. Fast wifi, parking nearby, welcoming atmosphere. I will return!

Amazing iced coffee and granola bars!! Seriously, these delicious homemade style granola bars are huge and filling. The iced coffee comes in a super cool can/cup as well which I thought was a neat touch. Inside the cafe they sell Java Moose brand coffee pods, ground coffee bags and even stuff like coffee soap. Such a nice atmosphere and the service is extra friendly. Highly recommend!!

A perfect example of local done beautifully. Every flavour of coffee is great and the snacks are everything you didn't know you NEEDED.
Dog Friendly, which makes me super excited (I don't have dogs, I just love meeting them)
Try the special holiday flavours if you're lucky enough to be there during that season

The barista was very kind and quite professional. That kind of service makes you want to return. Music was great but a wee bit loud.

We stopped in just to grab a quick coffee to takeaway but ended up buying 3 bags of beans! I was feeling extra and had the maple coffee and it was delicious. The beans came with a free coffee which my partner used to try the other flavoured brewed coffee (a coconut type jam with a cooler name) and also enjoyed it more than he expected. The staff were super friendly and let us know they ship their beans outside of NB which may turn out to be very dangerous for us! We’re excited to try our new coffee at home and even moreso to visit Java Moose again on our next trip to Saint John.

Excellent coffee, service and atmosphere. Coffee snobbery with an East Coast flare. Well done. We stop by every time we are in town. Highly recommend the Speedball Nitro!!

The iced coffee in a can is revolutionary. We travelled 40 minutes just for these! In addition, the service is phenomenal. Friendly, welcoming... you couldn't ask for me! Quite the SJ treat!

This is a gem of a coffee shop! The vanilla latte is great, but I would also race on the service of the staff. They gave my family lots of great ideas on things to do in Saint John including Irving Family Park. They have patrons hide the Java Moose around the store so others can find him!

My first job, my go-to in high school, Java Moose will always feel like home and bring back memories of growing up in NB. My big brother still sends me beans wherever I am in the world.

I like to walk my dog and get coffee to-go at the same time. It's really hard to find businesses that allow pets inside. Java Moose is one of the few places that do— which I appreciate. Oh, and the coffee is good too!

Best coffee in all of Saint John and area. Has the best staff working there as well. Food always tastes good and the coffee is never ending. Dogs are also welcomed without any arguments. Great place to go for a quick sip or a small stay for a slow drink.

Chill atmosphere, great service, and wonderful coffee. I spent three days in uptown St. John and this quickly became my coffee go to.

Prices are very reasonable with a good selection of organic standard and specialty brews.

If you are uptown looking for a good cup of coffee, make sure to check it out!
