five stars because i love this place but whoever is in charge of the hot foods counter needs to be fired and someone else needs to run it. all week there’s been no ribs no fries for dinner. or very very very old fries. it was like 6:30 i suggest you go look at the hot foods counter at fortinos

I love this Metro because of the people who work there, and the convenience of a small shop to pop into for not only basics but more elevated options. Today is only a few days before Christmas and shoppers are frazzled after work hours. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful and full of cheer.

I have gone to this store twice now from using the Too Good to Go app, and both times the service has been amazing.

Had some great Cod fish which I don’t have often. Very satisfied with my small shop

Adam at self checkout was very helpful when my jelly wouldn't scan. It is people like him that make me feel proud for the future of this country!

Every was great found some low stock, but easily replaced with alternative 👍

The staff were exceptional and the store was very clean and well stocked..

Always courteous and try to be helpful most times, except when they are very busy and I hang up because of the long delay.

Deli associate was very accommodating and low inventory because of holiday previous...she pleasantly made roast beef panini while I waited as this order was for an online grocery app order...thanks metro very much appreciated all staff that day ...very helpful

Old school location. I used to work here back in the day as a scab. They've changed things up . Really good produce section. The hot food counter is right at the door so when you're going in hungry you're in trouble.

Great store clean and organized. Fresh fruit and vegetables. Deli has a huge selection. Staff are so helpful .

Our preferred location for years as it has the "small town" vibe. Parking is medium capacity which keeps it from getting too busy. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have a deli and meat counter. The checkout can be a little slow sometimes, especially on Saturday's but there is self checkout available.

Safe, well-stocked store and friendly, efficient service.

Update Nov 15/21:
Wow, over the top service today from Colleen in the deli. I was perusing the prepared items and she asked if l was looking for something in particular. The wraps were all gone, so she offered to make me a couple, modified to my dietary specifications while l shopped. I was very impressed with Colleen's service with a smile!

their food is eqy better then fortinos

Today was my very first time shopping here, it had a really nice and friendly atmosphere. What really impressed me is one of the employees that works there, a male around his early 40s. He saw that I was a young shopper that seemed uncertain of what kind of cereal to buy; he approached me and advised me that sugary cereals aren't the best choice in terms of a healthy breakfast diet. He then pointed me to a healthier alternative that's filling and nutritious to start the day( Quaker oats) he was very friendly and explained to me a very easy and quick way to prepare it and how raisins go excellent with it along with a little bit of brown sugar

The cleanest store, friendly staff and managers, good premade food and great deals that change frequently!

Never any beggars or people to avoid like downtown.

The things I care about most in a grocery store are product freshness, customer service and cleanliness. This store checks all the boxes.

They have good options for quick lunch and dinner options to grab and go...pizza(good slices, or order a whole one made in front of you), sandwiches & wraps, soups, roasted chickens and other hot and cold items.

I had an excellent young girl serving me and she was very polite and thorough. I had coupons and she was doing awesome. I've always had Such a great experience there everyone is so polite and helpful

This is a nice, clean store in a great little town. I used to live on the Hamilton Mountain and would go to the Metro up there. We stopped going there because of expired food always on the shelves. We decided to give Metro Dundas a shot and they did not disappoint. Gino the Manager helped us find the items we were looking for, as well as being helpful with suggestions on some specials. Great experience. Great service.

I went there today and asked the butcher if there was any value size ground pork in the back. He said, if you have 5 minutes. I will make some up and he did. WOW, I did not think that happened anymore. Excellent service!!!
