If I could give more stars I would!! I’ve been knowing the Security Guard Ali, since I was a child. Ali, is nothing but the best. Always willing to lend a helping hand by helping you find that one ingredient you cannot manage to find and anything on your shopping list. Ali, always ensures that each and every customer feels safe and secure in the store. Nothing but the best. My favourite Security Guard for sure!!

I have been a customer at this NoFrills for many years. The staff are friendly and helpful. The guys stocking the shelves are always hard at work.
Ali, the security staff person is so much more than that. I have seen him diligently monitoring shopper behavior ( and yes, it is sad reality that this is necessary); for shoppers going about their shopping, he is generally unobtrusive and unnoticed.
However if you are observant, you will see Ali is also helping and directing shoppers, pushing a broom or collecting grocery baskets as needed. He is definitely an asset to this store. Hopefully he will continue to be part of this store's family of hard workers.
And finally, this store is my choice for 90% of my weekly grocery shopping, largely because of lower and competitive prices. Thanks.

The staff at the store is always friendly and helpful. The people stocking the shelves are quick to help when I’m not able to reach something. Ali that handles security is always there to help find something for me or assist me and ensures things are safe outside of the store, especially at night

I love the fact that anytime during my shopping experience I am always able to find someone working in the aisles or on the floor. You can also find Ali doing what he does as security-related duties. To all the staff, mnddeliveries thanks you for always being there for us.

I've been shopping at this No Frills supermarket (Main and Tisdale location in Hamilton) for about 16 years and have known "Ali", who works security, for about the same amount of time.

I would describe him as a conscientious, hard worker who takes his job very seriously. He always lends a helping hand to customers and often guides them at the checkout counter during busy periods. Also, quite often, I've seen him helping the other employees who stock shelves.

When my Mom was in good health, she would also shop at this particular No Frills store on a regular basis. Ali would always help her with the groceries and would often say that she reminded him of his late mother. As a matter of fact, there were quite a few occasions when he offered to deliver groceries to her residence! How many people who work security do that?

Remember... He doesn't own this business. He is not only doing his job, he's going well above and beyond!

When Mom fell ill and ended up in the hospital, he came to visit her on several occasions. He has also sent flowers to her on special occasions, which he paid for out of pocket, and expected nothing in return. He always asks how our family is doing and refers to me as "his brother", and to my sister as "his sister".

Yes, he takes his job very seriously. That is what he is paid to do! However, he is also very human. As long as someone doesn't attempt to steal, start acting up, or pose a safety risk to other customers and employees in the store, he will treat people with respect.

Without a doubt, he is one of the nicest people that I have met!

This store is very convenient and has reasonable prices for groceries. The cashiers are always pleasant and efficient. Shelves are always stocked with everything you need. The store is very clean, and the iles are wide enough for a wheelchair. I've been shopping here for over 20 years. Great store

i have been to your no frills for ten plus years now an every time i am there i am always greeted with a friendly smile and great demeanor by the security Ali. He is always asking how i am doing which makes me feel wanted. he is a great asset to the store i couldn't see Ali in any other NO frills then Giorgio's.

I have been a longtime customer at Giorgios No Frills (at Main St. East and Tisdale Avenue). “Ali” is an important fixture at this location, providing store security and customer service. Ali is a diligent and conscientious employee who always puts in 100 percent each and every day. Ali is energetic, tireless, and committed. He has a very strong work ethic and is vigilant in keeping the store clean and stocked, and keeping patrons safe. He has treated my entire family with love, kindness and respect. On several occasions he has gone out of his way to assist us with our shopping, going so far as to help bag our groceries. He was especially helpful to my elderly mother, having delivered her groceries to her home on several occasions. He is a wonderful employee and a great asset to this location. My entire family and I are very grateful to Ali for his kind care and cherished friendship.

This is a great store the staff is helpful it's organized & easy to find everything Ali the security is the best always alert you feel safe with Ali in the store always friendly & courteous but does his job fantastic a true asset to the store I look forward to seeing him regularly!

The Security Guard Ali, is the best Security Guard I have ever known, I have known Ali from a young age and he has always ensured that everyone is safe inside and outside of the store. Ali is always polite and helpful. I would definitely give Ali 5 stars for his service.

I have been coming here for groceries, its a rough part of town but the loss prevention team lead by Ali always keep the location running safely and smoothly . Tbh i thought that Ali was the manager the way he keeps an eye over everyone. Now im here almost daily for fresh produce and always welcomed with a smile from the team . Thanks Ali 🙏

Ali the Security has a hard job and he does it really well. He is very helpful and polite, keeps an eye on everything. I look forward to shopping at this store.

This specific No frills is a great place to shop. The Security guard Ali is an awesome man, he's always willing to help you find a product, even though it's not in his job description.

I noticed the security guard there takes up most care of the seniors in the handicap people is very helpful and he does more than just the security you see I’m picking up garbage and all kinds of stuff what a great worker

I shop there regularly and look foreward to going.
The gentleman who is in charge of maintaining security and theft managment has the most difficult of jobs!
This man single-handedly holds back the onslaught of humanity's ugliest. He goes (and Ive seen him) to the mat to reduce theft and prevent the trah from blowing up prices because of it...he is not given the respect by staff or customers...its not a pretty position to work in, and EVERY time I'm there, in that hour, he trwarts at least onr theft while im there.
Good for him. Keep up the hard unenviable job mate!
