The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Hamilton Mountain

We went here to celebrate my husbands early birthday as parents we don't get to have nights out alone. Got seated right away. Christine B was our server . Very attentive and the food came out great . Billy miner pie was delicious as always . Parking lot needs to be a bit bigger. But service by everyone was great. Always nice to come once every year . Baby in the belly had a good meal also lol

My favourite restaurant, I’ve been going there for so many years, never disappointed. Love the food and atmosphere, birthday cake I get every ear on my birthday 🥳, any occasion I am going there, love it.

Our server was wonderful. The food was delicious and served on warm plates. The timing made the evening relaxing. I found it a little noisy. It was my birthday and they provided a complimentary piece of delicious ice cream cake.

The meal was great. The keg is always consistent with great service and a reliably good meal. We tried something different this time and had the Lobster and Crab Oscar. It was truly delicious and would definitely have it again. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. It comes with lobster and crab on top with a lobster hollandaise sauce - don’t worry it doesn’t take away from the steak. This thing was tasty. Most visits I go for the ribeye, teriyaki or baseball and this was a nice change. Finish it off with a slice of the Keg’s signature Billy Miner Pie Ice Cream cake for good measure. (you’ll likely want help from the rest of the table to finish it) Enjoy!

Absolutely five stars. Our service was amazing as we enjoyed a great meal. The pistachio crusted salmon is absolutely amazing and our server rya I believe her name was, was absolutely amazing!!

My daughters treated me to an early Mother’s Day dinner at the Keg on Upper James this past Friday. I wanted to thank our server, Robin, for a wonderful evening! He went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was fantastic! Almost immediately after ordering, one of my daughters had to leave unexpectedly. As Robin was bringing our drinks, she let him know that she had to leave, and cancelled her order. Robin ended up comping her drink and and salad. And at the end of dinner, brought us the famous Billy Miner pie for dessert! The food was cooked to perfection, and our service was exceptional! Thank you Robin, for for helping to make our evening even better!

First time been at The Keg and already had a wonderful experience... The Host and Server were professionals, friendly and respectful... My Steak was cooked perfectly the way I wanted ... So delicious... Highly recommended... Thank you again

Another great experience at this Keg location for an employment promotion with family. The food was great, as usual, and the service was wonderful. I believe we had Jessica as our server - she was so lovely and friendly and made our experience great. She ensured we were well taken care of. The Caesar Brussels sprouts are AMAZING. steaks were cooked perfectly. We will be back!

Omg was amazed ... actually told the greeter I think I'm underdressed looks very high end food was awesome best calamari I have ever had I had steak and lobster wife had prime rib was great over all experience

We have a wonderful dinner at the Keg recently. A 3 person walk-in on a Thursday, shortly after 5:00pm...and no wait. It got quite full while we were there.

We enjoyed the crab and Sirloin features, prime rib and of course dessert ;). Billy Miner pie and lemon tarts...which I can't recommend too highly

The service was excellent as we've come to expect and we will definitely return, at this or another location in the future. It's become a habit :D

First and foremost, let it be known that I do not like to frequent chain restaurants. I don’t like the idea of corporate service, food, just the whole lot of it. I’ve been living in Canada for over four years now and, aside from fast food, this is the first chain restaurant I’ve been to. And the first exclusively Canadian chain that I’ve ever been to.

All this to say, The Keg exceeded (and then some) my expectations.

The food was unbelievably good. And I mean mind blowing levels. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The twice baked potato sang from the heavens. It was all perfect. We ended the meal with the crème brûlée (also perfect).

Robin, our server, was quite literally the best server I’ve had to recent memory. He embodies the gold standard for what it means to be a great, professional and personable, server.

While I would not say my heart has softened toward “chain restaurants“, I will say that The Keg is now counted among my favorite go to restaurants.

Can’t wait to go back!

We went on mother's day. Our server poured the Sangria for us but wish she hadn't...as she spilled quite a lot of while she poured both our glasses. The baseball steak, which I always order, was slightly over cooked and the Cesar salad was very over-dressed for some reason. I usually have the best experience here, but this time it was "so-so" perhaps because it was mother's day
A nice touch though, at the end of the meal they passed carnations out to the women. In our case, though, this was odd. The server brought one flower and there were 2 of us women...so perhaps there should have been 2 flowers?

Awesome service! We rarely eat out due to allergies but both our server and the kitchen were very accommodating, our meals were great. Very nice atmosphere.

It was a full house during my visit and understandably so! The steak was cooked to perfection - juicy, tender, and flavourful meat in every bite. Good service and a great place for your next celebration!

Had a fantastic dinner out with friends. Although the restaurant was very busy, everything came quickly, hot and delicious.
We made reservations and were seated right away. Our server Craig was very personable and attentive. Will definitely go back!

It was an extremely pleasant experience to have dinner with my family here. My server (Adrianna) was always ready to take care of my needs, and the manager (Taylor) was pretty cool and reasonable to deal with the problem I faced. This store, server, and manager deserve more than five stars! It was definitely way better than I expected. I will surely visit here again whenever I have a chance.

I have always had excellent food and service at the Keg. My last visit to this location was a different one, because I have a lot of new food restrictions that I'm managing. I spoke with Myles the culinary manager ahead of time to discuss ingredients and my options. Ordering was seamless and the server was very gracious. The food was delicious, as usual. I was very happy with my experience.

Recently went to the keg and had a great experience! We had the nachos, beef wellington and blacked chicken. The nachos were the best nachos we ever had ! They were cheesy and and extra crispy ! Definitely a must have ! My beef wellington pastry has over done / burnt for my liking but the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The blackened chicken was also good. I would go back again just for the nachos, they were that good !
