FreshCo Upper Gage & Fennell

I went on the afternoon of Christmas Eve to FreshCo and I couldn’t believe what I saw. It was the biggest mad scramble day of the year and the place was running smoothly. There were no long lineups. The place was clean. All the products were fully stocked. I didn’t have trouble finding anything, and there were employees all around to help. It was everything that shopping on Christmas Eve should be and obviously could be because they did it and they were killing it. Job well done.

I love this grocery store. Call me biased, but I feel like they have the best stuff when compared to food basics and no frills. This store is always clean and organized and workers, even though young, are very helpful. Lots of selections and fresh produce. Never bought anything stale or expired here. Definitely had that happen at both a no frills and several food basics. I moved and now live 22 minutes from this store and still find an excuse to come here to shop.

Great place to shop and you can collect or redeem Scene points. They have special discounts for people who are Scene members.

FreshCo and Basics are my go to stores. They always have good sales, and the quality of their products are good as well. I can always count on them to have what I need when I am cooking or baking :) I also enjoy the fact that FreshCo does price match, maybe that's the one thing basics should look into. No Frills says they "can't be beat", we'll I believe they can!

We always have positive experience whenever we visit this grocery store. It has great deals on produce and frozen foods. There is a wide variety of delicious desserts that you can choose. They have also a good collection of products in their international aisle. Moreover, prices are reasonable here with good quality products. I would definitely recommend this place.

Comparing this FreshCo to her sister branch on Barton and Gage, I think she deserves 5 stars from me. I can't recall when I visited here for a particular product and didn't find any. For each visits I made here, I smile and so I recommend this branch for happier shopping.

Always clean great selections

Even though I've noticed the prices of some products have jumped significantly. It is a clean store, and well stocked.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. Always great to see them. They treat us like family. Great prices, they price match and the store is always clean, great selection. Awesome little Halal Meat section, many traditional spices and world foods available too.
