We went to Bronte creek park on Saturday March 9 to experience the ongoing Maple Syrup Festival with kids. It was really great experience as we enjoyed short but informative guided tour from the volunteers who were dressed from the time back. Evolution of making maple syrup process was explained and at final stop we got to taste the syrup being made from local sap. Other than this in kids area they had nice games from old time too. Overall it was great experience and definitely recommend to visit.

Great provincial park in the middle of the city.
Plenty of parking, accessible and lots of things to see and do.
March is maple festival time. Day use is $18 per vehicle and includes entrance to the maple festival. Great for kids and adults.
There is a small farm which you can see and an old house/museum.
Place has a seasonal camp area but open the whole year for trekking.

A nice park to wind down and relax, go on a long walk with nature, scenic and ravine view trails. Ample parking and washrooms are clean.

Its a beautiful park in oakville. Entrance parking fee is $18. We went to the F parking lot to see the salmon fish near the trail. There were sheeps, cows and beautiful old structural buildings housing them. My experience was the best here. The track, the trail everything was so good.

Really great multi-use park! There are a few short hiking trails including one that leads to Bronte creek. There are large grassy fields for field games and many picnic tables. At least two play structures for children and plenty of parking. The children's farm was a real highlight! Kids loved seeing the animals and playing in the barn that was converted to a children's play area. There was a machine charging 25 cents for goat food so bring change if you plan to use it.

Absolutely gorgeous! I've lived in Halton and haven't visited this park yet! I'm use to driving further to camp.

They did an amazing job at creating this beautiful park within a busy area! You truly feel transported into deep into the woods just with a short drive from the highway!

Will most definitely be rebooking here!

Great campground. Had a park, great trails, a small storefront, dog park (which we unfortunately didn't get to check out). Its in the city so you do hear traffic but its a great get away spot to camp.

Bronte creek is one of the best places in Niagara for hiking and camping! Healthy animals, clean environment, and most of all very dog friendly. This place has so many hiking trails(long and short) and different activities for everyone to enjoy. We come here as often as possible!

great park for a walk with the family. there are outdoor and indoor places for picnics and birthday celebrations. walking trails through the forest. a variety of birds that you can feed from your hand. there is a farm in 1886 and it is alive. you can feed rabbits, goats, pigs. and enjoy the space. nearby is an outdoor swimming pool for people, where you can enjoy clean water in the fresh air. There is a paid, large parking lot.

We took our tween niblets and stayed 3 nights in the campground and went twice to the day use park and it was fabulous. The park and staff do a tremendous job teaching kids (and us adults as well) all about the area's history and nature. The highlights were the old farmhouse and a guided tree hike.
I was concerned it was going to be too close to the city but both parks feel like they're in rural areas. We loved being so close to Lake Ontario as well and did a day trip to Cornation Park and later a Sandy beach next to a marina. All of us had a most excellent time and would definitely recommend taking kids to Bronte Creek.

Good place for hiking and kids to enjoy barn and see farm animals such as rabbit, sheep, goat, pigs. Lot of fun activity for kids to do at children’s farm with different type of slides.
Very well maintained park with beautiful trail.
My son enjoyed every bit of it and it was great experience for him to connect to nature and animals, must visit place in springs.
I have added small reel from my Insta handle covering all the aspects of park

Met a friend at this Ontario Provincial Park this past weekend. It was very family friendly, clean and well maintained. There were pigs, piglets, rabbits and goats. The piglets were too cute, everyone enjoyed watching them the most. There is also a playbarn for kids to have some indoor fun. The best part was the Gnome and Fairy walk. The little ones loved it. There is a parking charge.

What a cool park! We had a lot of fun walking all the trails. The pavilions and grills were busy but there weren't that many people on the trails.

In the heart of the suburbs this park has many trails to choose from and the Half Moon Trail is my favourite, especially in the spring. So many native Ontario plants hiding in the underbrush and this last visit a Bald Eagle greeted us and I've now seen the most mature Jack-in-the-pulpit yet! When the kids were smaller the play barn was high on our visits and I love going on a lunch picnic with my husband.

Did their maple syrup festival. Beautiful surroundings. Great displays and reasonable prices on most "extras" like maple syrup taffy ($2) maple sugar and pure syrup sample sizes. Pancake breakfast family deal is good value.
