Pet O Pets - Burlington

This is a normal phenomena people forget when they get a good service but if there is anything what comes below their expectations, they want their voice to be heard louder than ever before.
I always see the store busy with customers I was told by the owner that they have over 5000 registered members but not everyone has given a good review although these customers are very satisfied with service.
I’ve been visiting Pet O Pets for years and witnessed their growth. It’s a family run business and their knowledge is amazing on pets care. I’ve purchased pets and supplies numerous times from them and have always found them dedicated and helpful.
I know these guys will leave business but never compromise on suggesting an incomplete or wrong habitat for pets just to make sales.
I recommend this store as the best pet store in town

Great store! Went in to look for some budgies and after very informative talk with Sid, ended up deciding that a conure was a better choice for me. I have had my conure Charlie for about 3 months and she is so amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and I get Charlie’s grooming done there every month.

I'm a new parrot owner and had many question. Rafay took his time with me and answered all my question while also giving me important advice. I have not seen any big box pet store come close to the knowledge and supplies they had for parrots. Will definitely be coming here for everything I need.

Visited on Sunday and the owner was incredible. My 5 year old loves bunnies but sadly we cannot have one due to my husband's allergies. She took out the baby bunnies and allowed my daughter to hold them and play with them. She was so helpful and invited us back any time. Talk about customer service! Highly recommend!

This is by far the best pet store I have ever had the pleasure of visiting, and I have worked for and visited many. This is the definition of a real family run local business that our community has lost and is missing over the years in retail, and your experience is always beyond pleasant, friendly, informative, personable, honest, and leaves you wanting to come back everytime. You are always confident that yours and your pets best interests and needs are their number one priority. This amazing family has an amazing vision, bringing the feeling and experience of a personable family run local businesses back into the community, who are passionate about what they do and they work from the heart and soul as a team, and they deserve all the success in the world. All pets are well taken care of, their store is beautiful, and the customer service from all family members ( including their wonderful children) is always a positive experience and a highlight to my visits. I have purchased the most amazing african grey baby and all accessories from this store, when I have had questions or needed assistance they were happy and eager to help me with merchandise selection and educate me on my new addition to our family to ensure that I continue to provide the most adequate and healthiest care for my little guy just as they have at their store. I have and will continue to travel 45 minutes one way to purchase from and visit this store for all my pet needs over any commercial pet store in my area. If you are looking for honesty, integrity, trust, passion, remarkable customer service, confidence and a positive relationship with your pet store I strongly recommend that you take the drive to Burlington and meet this family and their furry friends, you will not be disappointed, but rather leave after your visit wishing there were more local businesses and people like this store and family within our community. Have been coming here for years. Service is steller. The staff working is consistently available and always so accommodating. They go above and beyond every time and we specifically continue to buy from this store because of their service and great quality products!

This place has a family of angels. Completely kind and understanding. Their pets are all quality and the staff is amazing.

I’ve been a long time customer of the Mississauga store and I honestly love this store even more. The pet village is so different than any other pet store that I’ve ever been to, I especially love the variety of fish and birds they have here, I always get all my fish from this store despite it being out of my way. The staff always surprise me with how much knowledge they have on all the animals and they always offer advice based on their own personal experiences and that of their previous customers rather than the generic stuff you hear at other stores. And they always take time with customers which I always appreciate. Always happy coming here and will continue to support this family business for as long as I can!

Visited this place today as I was driving by to petsmart and thought why not, wow am I glad I did. Great family run pla e lots of selection for reptiles and all different types of animals. They carry better quality feeder insects and the nice lady working was very pleasant to deal with. Their animals looked very well taken care of. Just such a pleasant surprise will be back for sure.

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Petsopets in Burlington. We came in today to find a new family pet and the sales representative Sid offered us a hands on experience to find the right fit for our family. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had in detail so we felt confident when leaving the store with a beautiful blue baby parrotlet. Thank you so much Sid for taking your time with us, we adore our new baby bird!

Really nice little pet shop that has many little pets to look at in the back. Kids loved exploring and seeing all the animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, many varieties of fish and some turtles.

Space inside is really maximized to have a wide variety of pet products for a huge variety of needs. Happy to support a little shop over a big chain too.

Friendly knowledgeable service as well. Bought our pet rabbit here and she is wonderful, well socialized and energetic. Came back for the kids to get her a Christmas gift! Will be back.

This is a lovely family owned pet store. If you have reptiles they carry a variety of feeders. The feeders are also very reasonably priced (way better than pet Mart up the street) The reptile section of the store in general a good selection.

Very service and big bird

I bought those two newborn guinea pigs 2 months ago and they’re so super cute!
They look like 16 weeks old and they’re so tiny. Compared to the ones at petsmart they’re much older like 6 months old and they’re bigger. But it’s always good to have them as babies for beginners and experience with them as they’re growing and let them get use to their new owner. Especially I never had a newborn guinea pigs before that are so young and small.
They’re very happy and healthy!
The sale lady at that pet store she’s friendly, knowledgeable, kind and helpful!

I would definitely recommend this pet store if you’re looking for livestock for beginners!

Nice knowledgeable staff, more personable than a big box store

I purchased 2 beautiful Dwarf Rabbits from the Burlington store. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me to choose food and accessories for my bunnies.
Sonya is absolutely amazing and is always willing to help out with anything that I need and answers any questions I may have. She is very knowledgeable and pleasant.
I love that they allow their house pets to wander about and do not keep them locked in cages all the time.
I would recommend this store for all your pet needs!

I wish I knew this place existed before I had bought my lovebird from another store. The birds are all hand raised and seem very friendly, they were all approaching the cage when I went to them.

I came in just as they opened and the pet room seemed as clean as you would expect with the amount of animals being left alone overnight. There was seed in front of the cages, but it did not smell. On my previous visit I was there later in the day and it was very clean.

I assume I have dealt with the owner's daughter on both my visits. She is very friendly and helpful. She was very apologetic about the room being "messy", but like I said the birds had been left overnight. My birds make a mess while I am at work and I only have two - I can only imagine how much a mess the amount they have make.

If you are in the market for a bird I'd highly recommend purchasing from this store.

I am happy I’ve found Pet O Pets. As a new bird owner I had lots of questions. Unlike the “Smart pet” store I was able to have my questions answered by a clearly knowledgeable staff member. Sid was able to give recommendations without sales pressure. It was all in the name of keeping my bird experience positive.
Also I must note in such a small store I found more bird accessories here than 3 big stores combined.
This place is a must shop if you have a feathered family member.

Really good store, but the only problem is that the pet section closes 5pm but the store closes 6pm but i understand there animals and i dont think that affects my rating.
