Sixpence was the first and ended up being the only dress shop that I visited, as i said yes to the dress and found the most beautiful dress! I had the privilege of dealing with Jackie, and my experience was top notch! the atmosphere was welcoming & I did not feel rushed. A bonus - the prices are reasonable and the dresses are absolutely stunning! Would recommend!

I had the most incredible experience at Sixpence Bridal. They have a ton of beautiful dresses, lots of different styles, sizes and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve been to this shop twice and had the pleasure of working with Nina both times and the service is second to none. She is the most genuine, kind hearted and patient individual and really takes the time to get to know her brides/understand what you like and don’t like. She is very attentive and gives you time to choose dresses you like but also gives you suggestions based on your preference. The dress I ended up purchasing was one she recommended and I couldn’t be happier! I will be recommending Sixpence Bridal to everyone I know!

I recently attended a private bridal appointment at Sixpence Bridal Studio and although I did not find my wedding dress, I had a great experience. I really enjoyed the private and low pressure atmosphere of the boutique. My consultant was lovely and helpful. As a curvy bride, I found that the selection on the day of my appointment was a bit limited. However, I know they are trying to increase their inventory in this area! I plan to return for a bridal accessories appointment.

While my friend didn’t find her dream dress during our visit, the vibes were incredible. Best of any dress shop I’d been to. I wish I remembered the name of the stylist that helped us (I’m writing this months later) but she was amazing. So full of life and energy - exactly what you want when trying on a dress for something as special as your wedding. You want to feel beautiful, and our stylist was a words of affirmation guru. Plus, she was funny. Like I found myself laughing multiple times at her little comments. Just the sweetest!

I had the best time at Sixpence. It was my first time trying on dresses and Sofiya was incredible. She was so pleasant and patient with us, and helped me find all the accessories. I am recently post partum and didn’t know my size and she was very patient helping figure out the perfect size! I love my dress I picked out! I highly recommend visiting this bridal studio for all brides

What a lovely experience I had at Sixpence! Such a beautiful space and relaxed environment. Izabela was wonderful to work with. I ended up finding my dress here and was able to take it home same day! The focus on sustainability made me feel extra satisfied with my purchase. Would highly recommend booking an appointment here :)

Loved it! I loved my experience at Sixpence.. I loved having the place to ourselves. And Isabella was amazing and so helpful! She even let me come in again last minute before closing to try on and purchase the dress I loved from earlier that day. I left with a lovely dress and a huge smile! 100% recommend for any bride, especially budget friendly or last minute brides since you can take it home with you that day!

My experience with Sixpence was exceptional. The dresses were all in excellent condition and there was a lot to choose from- this experience was great from start to finish. Also nice that the room could only fit one party at a time- was very nice to have a private experience. Nina was very knowledgeable when it came to understanding how alterations worked- she was amazing and really made our experience.Would highly, highly recommend!

I went to Sixpence Bridal today because I was in desperate need of finding a wedding dress, my wedding is less than 6 weeks away and I needed to find a new dress. The consultant worked with me, and from the time of making my appointment with them my experience has been nothing but short of amazing. The consultant I had was amazing and truly helped to make the experience so enjoyable. Holly was so helpful and was willing to work with me more than any other salon has. The selection of dresses were amazing, and they had a great display of accessories and veils as well. It was truly such a good experience and a salon I should have visited from the very beginning.

I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a wedding dress, the dresses are great quality, the selection is good, the pricing is very reasonable and the best part, you leave with the dress same day.

If you want a great bridal shopping experience then this salon has to be a must!

Sixpence was my second bridal shop that we had gone to, and the experience was incredible. We had a not so great experience elsewhere the previous day, and Holly exceeded our expectations!
I have a curvy figure, I don’t wear dresses too often, and I didn’t know what to expect for a selection of dresses, but I was so pleased with what I was able to try on.
Holly made our time so easy, she explained everything perfectly, helped me with sizing, and made me and my party so comfortable. I’m so happy to say that I said YES to the dress! 🤍

Went to a number of bridal shops including the modern bride and kleinfelds, and sixpence was by far the best experience. The appointment was completely private, Jackie made wonderful recommendations and was really knowledgeable about potential alterations and honest with the pricing. I’m so happy I got my dress here!

I’ve been watching the store for ages and finally jumped on their recent Valentines Day sale. I was worried it would be busy or stressful due to the sale but we had the entire space to ourselves, and Isabella my consultant made every step of the process so easy and comfortable.

The first dress I tried was clearly our winner, but she helped me try some different styles to make sure I was positive and confident in my choice.

The best space, an excellent team, and such a financially and environmentally friendly concept! I will be sending everyone to sixpence when it’s their turn to shop!

Small boutique bridal shop in Guelph that is by appointment only. Excellent and professional service. As a bride, they made me feel very well supported during my shopping process, especially when many brides can have body insecurities. One of the sales staff, Jenay, helped me pick out two dresses (i.e. both samples) and a pair of earrings from here, over the span of four visits.

Their collection of dresses are beautiful. The prices are very fair and there is a sufficient number of dresses to choose from without it feeling overwhelming. They also have two seamstresses (one in Guelph and one in Waterloo) that they can put you in touch with for alterations.

If you're not able to take the dresses right away, they are able to hang onto them until you're ready to do the pick up.

Occasionally emails take a while to be responded to, but a poke and a nudge usually ensures you get a reply.

Highly recommended if you want a shop that gives you attention and care.

I came to Sixpence last week for a wedding dress appointment and had a wonderful experience! This was my first time ever trying on wedding dresses and I ended up leaving with the dress of my dreams. I was impressed by the selection, prices and styles in the shop. My family and I loved the intimate setting and appreciated having the whole shop to ourselves, which made for a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Sofiya was the associate during our appointment and she was phenomenal! Very patient, knowledgeable and kind. She made our experience that much better, and even chose the perfect veil to pair with my dress. I had visited a few months earlier with my sister, and we had a similar experience with another associate.

Cannot recommend Sixpence enough - a great concept, better for the environment and your wallet. Thank you Sofiya and the entire Sixpence team!

I really loved my experience with Sixpence. The staff seem to have a true passion for finding the dress that works for you. From the second we went in, there was no pressure and everyone was genuinely helpful from start to finish. Plus the dresses are pretty :)
