Royal Electric Bar & Public Eatery

Kudos to the Royal Electric Bar and Eatery. Last Saturday afternoon they hosted a number of students from Jam School (music school) including our 15 year old granddaughter. While great talent was shown by the performers the waitresses whirled about bringing great food and beverages to the happy crowd. This is my second opportunity to visit the Eatery. Make a visit and you'll agree it is a fun spot with good eats.

I've been here twice now and have enjoyed both meals. The dip with the pretzel buns is out of this world. I added to chicken to my halloumi bowl and I really didn't need to. The dish would have been fine without it. Since we were celebrating my birthday, they added some candles to my dessert which I felt was a nice touch. Definitely becoming a go-to date night spot.

I love Royal!! It's so fun for a night out with either a live band or DJ. Royal has a diverse crowd that makes people of all ages feel comfortable.
The food is great, their wings are huge and have SO much meat on them, all the sauces are made in house so it's unique to other restaurants. Their ranch dip is mouthwatering. And possibly the best Ceasar salad I've ever had thanks to the super garlicky dressing! Try the spicy fries as a side if you're not a salad person.
The dessert is 🔥!! You want to save room after your meal for one of their amazing dessert options.
Highly recommend checking out Royal Electric next time you're down town Guelph.

First time visiting this place and would definitely be coming back. The service is fast and the food is really tasty. I love how they paired the chicken strips with potato salad, coleslaw, and crispy kale. The batter of the buffalo cauliflower is very tasty and crispy. Paired with sangria would be the perfect patio meal.

They have a good variety of foods on the lunch menu. The meatless choices are delicious and creative. So nice to have something other than a salad as an option when you don't eat meat.

I've tried their mezze bowl and the portobello sandwich. The sweet potato wedges are 🤤 🤤.

There's a large patio in the summer too.

Lots of beer options if that's your jam. 🍺 🍻

Had celebratory lunch here today, our server Courtney knew the beer selection well and gave us perfect "flights". Food was delicious, mile high choco cake was fresh and melted in our mouths. Well done!

Wow!! I had the grilled cheese sandwich stuffed with pulled pork, apple and Brie. It was incredible! Side of garlic aioli topped off a beautiful taste combination. Had really great service from Watson and I got to watch him build a martini tower. Very impressed!

Food was decently priced. Goat cheese appetizer and buffalo cauliflower was fantastic. Arrived quickly and nice and hot. Wings were very good. Lots of sauce and a good size. Carson took great care of our table making sure everyone was well looked after.

Amazing service, food and vibes! Staff accommodate your needs to their best of their abilities. The patio is a really great atmosphere and their new menu is fire!

Friendly service. Good menu. They were full when I walked in but the hostess did a good job of getting me the first table that came available. We didn't end up waiting very long.

Amazing wings, enjoyable open-air atmosphere, friendly staff who are not afraid to recommend when asked. Loved the attention to detail with the flavors 😀. Another eatery that makes the downtown Guelph food scene spectacular!

Came here for lunch with few colleagues and was blown away by the quality of food and level of service. We had pre ordered due to us being a large group of people and we were able to get our food and drinks as soon as we sat down. Definitely recommend the chicken burger with supreme fries. The pickled onions and jalapeños definitely add a nice touch to the fries. Great atmosphere, convenient location, and great service. Will be back for sure!

Popped in for my favorite Benny Brunch and a mimosa. Some local kids were jamming and singing while we ate and it turned out to be a fantastic time. Staff is always accommodating and fun. A fantastic drink menu and a large selection of unique craft beer.

I just wrote another review mentioning my top three places in Guelph to grab a bite, and this is also one of them.

The Royal Burger, Buffalo Cauliflower, Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich and their brunch Chicken and Waffles are to die for.

Love the wood aestetic, also wicked people-watching open window spaces! Excellent variety on hand for beverages - lots of delicious local beers, not to mention the amazing and friendly service!

Burger was amazing! Great drink selection. Server was awesome. Perfect for groups. DJ started at 10 and he was great. Such a fun night of dancing!!!!

Thus place is awesome! My brother took me here for wing night. It can't be beat!

Thomas is the best!!! So welcoming and friendly. Love that guy. Very honest man too.
