Queensborough Dog Park

it was a good experience on the weekend!

This is the first time going there. I don't live around here, I had my car in for service at the time. Also had my dog with me. Was looking for a dog park near by and glad I found one. It was about a 15 min walk from the dealership. Good place to drop your dog off for awhile to run off their energy! The fenced off area is full of mulch but is also full of weeds and there hiding the doggie mines that never get picked up, so watch your step, also find that it's not level like the other fenced off dog parks, kind of hilly in some areas slippery when wet. There are some areas as mentioned where a dog could escape if the dog is small enough otherwise pretty secure. There is also a skate board park next door with a few photo op opportunities and a community center of some sort.
The only draw back is the time that it closes, no activity allowed after 430pm. That's understandable there's low-rise apartments and townhomes there.

Very bumpy surface. Careful if you run around with your pup. Can cause injuries for both.

Water fountain is available. The water flow fixed this Spring :)
