Brownsville Bar Park

An absolute diamond in the rough, Those who fall in love with this place end up becoming regulars for years to come. It has that old school pub charm with the added excitement of many live bands, karaoke jams, meat draws , Super Bowl parties and more love this place so much there are so many more things I could list

Brownsville Bar Park is the perfect place to get the best view of bridges in Sunny. It’s a small but busy park where neighbouring residents come to fish in the river, party on the riverbank, and date in front of the beautiful sunset glow and bridge view. I especially like the poetic scene on the river: fisherman in a boat crossing under the bridge and geese leisurely swimming in line. This park is adjacent to Brownsville Pub. Today, November 17, 2021, I revisited the park, amazing at its autumn view and early sunset scenery.

Cant say enough about this little gem of a beach and park.
With gas prices on the rise again we cant just drive to White rock or Vancouver to get a picture s of Sunsets.

After cycling over the Patullo Bridge for years ,finally visited the park I could see below.Getting there safely was dicy until I found an impressive pedestrian overpass about 1/2 a kilometer away.Problem solved.Much to my surprise this no ordinary park.Fishing and sternwheeler history abound.Very well presented.Congrats Surrey.Good job.

Used to be a regular in the trailer park area as my best friend used to livew there. Everyone is always friendly and upbeat, and they have good live music nights in the bar, which i havent been in a long time. Its also relaxing to go sit in the park and fish or have a little fire and sip drinks with friends and listen to music. Theres usually a bigger crowd of youngings partying in the park on weekends but, they usually pretty friendly and not looking for trouble.

Absolutely a gorgeous plave to sit back and soak in the sunset views that it offers. Might get the odd groups smoking up nearby of that's a worry for you but no cause for disturbing scene. Get here early to secure a nice rock for yourself to enjoy your evening and hear the water crash onto your feet, which is by far the most surreal feeling ever :)

Very cute little park perfect for walk. Right under the skytrain bridge and patullo bridge. Amazing views. Very quiet and away from city’s chaos. Perfect place to relax and watching sunet.

It is one of our favorite beaches. We come here all the time and it is very quiet. However we get the random people who leave their garbage around. We hope that the culture would change. Nonetheless, we love it.

Best sunset and night view, not too crowded but you'll find people doing walk, sunset chaser, bonefire, picnic

This is a really cute park. It’s great for walking the dog and getting away from all the chaos. The beach offers the sounds of waves and the delight of sometimes seeing dogs frolic in the water. They’ve got a decent size parking lot here and the neighbourhood isn’t as bad as it seems. If you’re lucky you’ll find some friendly strangers having a bonfire on the beach late in the evening. The best part is watching the sky train head over the bridge.

Nice and quite place to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Wish some people were responsible enough to pick up after themselves and not leave their trash behind!
