Halifax Laundry Co.

As advertised. Very clean and on Sundays, it's free soap. BTW, it's next to Ramblers, a coffee, beer, live jazz venue. Today (Sunday), several jazz bands were playing which made the laundry time flew by.

I always have such a good experience at Halifax laundry co! This place is clean as a whistle, there’s a jukebox, a vending machine, a change machine, an atm, laundry soap, books to flip through and a cafe next door. It’s bright and airy and the machines work very well. I basically lived here all summer when my well was dry and the owners were incredibly gracious and accommodating. You can tell the moment you walk in that the laundromat is well looked after and cared for. It’s all in the details! Can’t imagine going anywhere else.

I’ve been doing laundry here on and off for about 5 years now, but hadn’t been in since the new owners took over. Angela & Dave did such a fantastic job transforming the space into somewhere comfortable to wait while your clothes do their thing. It’s clean, bright, has decent seating and the machines are in good repair. The location is fantastic with Rambler’s coffee next door and the Gottingen bus route just down the street. Free soap is a smokin’ deal and the pop is locked in at early 2000s prices. They’re fighting inflation!

Great place to do your Laundry.
Perfect spot for late night Laundry (Note: Need to get in before 10pm and you can finish your laundry happily and exit the door. Door will be locked after 10pm, so make sure you don't exit the place without collecting your cloths)
This is my 2nd Visit, the Management always keeps this place clean.

I totally recommend this place for your Laundry needs.

Great experience. Always find this place neat and clean. Coin change machine was out of service and called to help desk number, owner arrived within 5 minutes to fix the machine. Excellent service

The free laundry detergent is amazing value and really sets this place apart from other's in the HRM. Very clean place with a friendly and safe atmosphere.

It's very easy to complete your laundry washing, staff are welcoming and available at message platforms, you can find pots of soap. To improve the users guide it will better to add a chronograph demonstration for dryer time using.

an absolutely lovely space! I needed a play to do laundry because all of my buildings washers are either broken or constantly full, and this was the only place open on Good Friday! All that said I will definitely be coming back here over my building's laundry, because this place is welcoming, clean, and cozy! I bought a soda and was able to write one of my final papers while I waited for my laundry. Truly so nice!

Nice, clean, washing machines and dryers both do a great job. Soap is sold from a vendor, an ATM inside and a change machine. Great place to do laundry.

Wanna do your laundry in a clean, reliable, relaxed spot? You can go here. Right next to an awesome coffee/beverage/snack spot, and not far from some park-sitting solace if you'd like while the cycle is on. I dug it.

Very clean laundry. Thanks to the employee who works there, this place just sparkles. In addition, there are many pleasant and cute little things in the interior that add coziness and a homely atmosphere.

This is my first time here and I am definitely coming back next week. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful and though the place is self serve it is incredibly clean, organized, fresh looking and smelling. The machines are all new high end. There are 8 huge dryers, 4 front load and four top load washers. The prices are very affordable at 6.00 for a load washed and dried. They have soap ( free on Sunday) etc, snacks and ice cold soda and sparkling water available for purchase , atm, change machine, lovely window seating area and you can't beat the location. The shops and restaurants of Agricola and Gottingen are steps away and transit is not a block away. I can't say enough to say how great this place is. Thank you.

The place is always super clean, even when it’s busy. The side-load washers do a fantastic job of spinning stuff dry so you save on dryer coins, I’ve never used the top load units so I can’t speak to them. I tend to do smaller loads across two dryers and have never had a problem getting anything dry. The max I’ve ever had to top up was a quarter or two. Snack selection is on point and the library is getting pretty good too. Overall, a super welcoming spot, next door to a great coffee joint, that I actually enjoy going to for my weekly hour of zen.

The best laundromat I have seen in the city. Clean and organized, and machines are newer and good. In a good location as well. Owners are very nice and actually care. $3 per wash

Really Nice, was close to closing and the coins got stuck in the dryer and they dried our clothes for free, would recommend
