Holiday Inn & Suites North Vancouver

We had the double queen bed room looking over the parking lot at freeway. The room was nice and pretty standard. Staff was very friendly. The best part of the hotel is the restaurant attached. Surprisingly good food!

I was actually at Medleys pub. One of few remaining pubs that feels local and personal with what seems like long standing staff creating a welcome mat for regulars. A number of grey hairs frequent it and the young staff treat them as friends, a rare Go To in my book for beer and food.

Cannot fault anything with this hotel, rooms were roomy and modern, nice bathroom, not noisy, simple yet very tidy and functional.

Would stay again

Stayed there for our ski trip to Whistler. It's reasonable drive and the price is a lot cheaper than the ski resorts in Whistler. Will book them again for our next ski trip.

Was further out then I expected, but that is my problem. Excellent service desk and dining room service. Bed is as comfortable as I expected.

We loved our hotel and experience. They were able to accommodate an early check in which was very helpful. The rooms were nice and clean and they have two restaurant options on property which was perfect for our family. Unfortunately we were sick from the previous place we were in and had to leave the property a day early. Next time we visit we look forward to coming back and swimming in the indoor pool. A big thank you to the sweet staff, specifically Shima and another gentleman at the front desk. Thank you for being so kind and for excellent customer service.

We loved our stay. The location of this property gave us easy access to many places in North Vancouver, including Lynn Canyon, Capilano bridge, Deep Cove, Lonsdale Quay, sea to sky highway etc. I believe a car is needed if you are going to stay at this hotel. But if you do have a car it is ideal. Rooms were clean, bathroom was spacious, and every staff member was very courteous and kind. We appreciated that there were laundry facilities on-site! It was also really nice to be able to grab a drink at the pub which is outside of the hotel but on site. This is a community pub with lots of locals. The outside setting of the hotel is lovely with a lot of greenery and as someone else mentioned, it feels secluded and peaceful. Thank you for a lovely time! Agree with another reviewer that the air conditioning is on the loud side.

Wonderful hotel. Loved everything about it. Front desk staff were all superb, especially Shima who went out of her way to always help us. Stella was also terrific. They were all so friendly. Restaurant VERY good and all staff so good there. My husband ate out one night (elsewhere) and was very sick during the night. Raj (waiter in restaurant) put together wonderful things for him to get him better and asked the chef to make him lentil and carrot soup (not on menu) and it was fantastic. Raj is excellent.
Very nice pool and fitness centre. Also, good laundry facilities for guests. Excellent location in North Vancouver. Huge Loblaws (A Great Canadian Superstore) is a very easy short walk away.
Rooms very comfortable. Bedding fabulous.

I will recommend this hotel as location is ideal for vacation and close to capilano bridge and grouse mountain. Lobby is spacious and attractive and big car park area. Rooms are nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful especially Shima at the front desk.

Good price for the room, good service, clean and comfy, good food in the restaurant, cute waitresses. 😉 What more could a guy ask for!

Place was busy. Food prices reasonable. Lots to choose from too. Service was good. 6 of us be back for sure.

I never write reviews for places, but after my experience with the North Vancouver Holiday Inn, there is no way that I couldn't. For context, I work at the pub that shares a parking lot with this hotel, we are not affiliated with the hotel, we just share the parking lot.

Yesterday there was snow storm that created some very dangerous driving on the highway, and with many Vancouver drivers not being prepared for the snow, it would have taken me 3 hours to get home. I live a 45 minute drive from work. I needed to be back in North Vancouver this morning for school, and by the time I would have gotten home, it would have been about 2am.
After speaking with the front desk (I think her name was Danielle) I was extremely impressed with how much effort they went through to accommodate me and make me feel comfortable with my unplanned visit.

In hospitality there are certain things you can train an employee to do, but there are certain traits that people just develop/have on their own, clearly the hiring manager knows what to look for when hiring. Very thankful for everyones efforts and help. And as someone who works next door, I hear a lot of great stories from customers who visit the pub, so I am confident this wasn't a stand-alone experience. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel over Labor Day weekend ! The room was very clean, spacious, and equipped with disability features. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Rashea was especially friendly ,efficient, and helpful at the front desk . The wait staff at the Medley Grill restaurant were as well. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. I can definitely recommend Holiday Inn North Vancouver to anyone traveling and in need of a pleasant stay.

Stayed here while I worked in the area. Rooms are spacious and very clean. I don't know why but I loved the sheets they had. Staff was very accommodating and kind. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable the rooms were. Only annoying thing was the coin laundry and the only ATM machine they had was in the lounge which wasn't open until 11. Overall had a great stay and would definitely go back

This was a great find for our first trip to Vancouver. We only had a few days before heading to another city for a planned seminar, but this was a great place to stay. Okay restaurant on site, open 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. I believe. Beautiful property & grounds, ample parking & just of the main Highway. Staff was always friendly & helpful at all of our encounters. Sauna & hot tub were both broken but the indoor pool was nice. Laundry facilities were conveniently by the pool, along with Fitness Center. Pub/liquor store & spa next door.

My stay itself was good from big spacious rooms, to having twin beds and ample of space all around. Pool was nicely maintained with hot tub unavailable due to heater break down. Although it looks like the building is quite old but they have maintained it nicely.

Very great service, clean room stocked with the usual hotel comforts. Requested an early check in as well as a late check out, and the staff accommodated us without issue. Restaurant's on site are fairly good, and the hotel is an easy 5 minute walk to the grocery store. That being said , location is very good, but there isnt much of a view, although it is close to bus stops so its easy to get access to everything. The prices were fairly good compared to other hotels in the area. I would 100% stay again, as well as recommend my friends and family to stay here.

I like the location and facilities. Not very expensive compared to other places in Vancouver.
Front desk staff - especially Shima - are professional and welcoming.
Breakfasts are amazing.
Gym is great.
I hope they add EV charging stations and also upgrade the guest rooms with new TV and beds!

Been staying at the Holiday Inn North Vancouver the last few years have family lives 10 minutes away from the hotel & makes it a convenient place to stay. Hotel is in a good location Lynn Creek trails is 5 minute walk from the hotel & two restaurants onsite medleys & Seymours both good restaurants to eat at & good prices & hotel has a pool gym & sauna please get the hot tub working again. Also staff are amazing specially Shima & Ping both very helpful & made my stay the best Thankyou.
