Black Diamond Hotel

Had the best time, shared a plate of nachos with my daughter. Our waitress was beyond fabulous! For instance I learned that a Caesar with no spices is a dirty Caesar. Who knew? And her new pup, Hudson, is adorable. Shot some pool for $2/game - had a great time. Looking forward to Feb 3rd, "Elvis" nite!

Highly reccomend. We had a wonderful experience. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was kind and helpful. Food in the bar was excellent. Originally we were concerned being above a bar however it's really just a friendly local place for the town. My only critique is that parking isn't the most convenient and there is no elevator to my knowledge, if you have disabilities.

They have their own restaurant, I ordered the virgin ceaser which I find to this day the best one around. I even had few in Calgary and no one comes close to them. Also had the Crispy Chicken Ceaser Salad. I send about $25-$26 on this meal and drinks. It was quick to the table. Good place to have a good meal while passing through.

We went for beers. It was great. It was stupid hot out and the big old building was nice and cool. It has that nice old building feeling inside there. Definitely will go back next time iam in town . The local beer was Belgium ale and it was amazing .

This hotel seemed to be newly renovated. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was great. I checked out the restaurant and bar area downstairs and it is spacious and clean. Great hotel for the price and very kind and friendly staff, thanks for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner clean rooms and comfortable beds over a great experience would definitely go back

Food and drink was very good and very reasonably priced. Service was good. Would recommend it to our friends.

Finally we made it to the hotel its been 3yrs. The service is great just as it always has been. They changed the chairs there not sure why it doesn't matter. The beef dip & fries with there great gravy still rules 🤙. The place was just about packed. I highly recommend everyone go here for a meal. Everything on the menu is great. The soup is just like my grandmother used to make. ✌

Had dinner. Good food. Great service. Good prices. Nice bar.

Lunch was good Beef Dip with lots of beef on the fresh bun the au jus to dip sandwich in was bland though. Fries good. My husband had steak sandwich and was cooked med rare the way he likes it. Fries on side were great he said. Parking in street was okay. Service okay until it got busier.

Great meal and service - had a ribeye steak that was cooked perfectly medium rare for a great price! Love these small town hotels and their taverns!

Ive been going there for years. They have a very nice atmosphere and excellent service by the staff. Food is great, never had a bad meal there.

Only word I have for this bar is exquisite. Very nice woodwork and brass fixtures. The place is large and has something for everybody. I had the best steak I've had for the price here. It was very tender and delicious. Service was great, beer was cold.

I was watching the Rugby World Cup. Excellent service. Great food, as always.

We walked in for a Valentines Day lunch. We were immediately greeted by one of the girls. Our waitress Sam came right over to take our drink orders and left our menus. Expecting an old style Alberta hotel bar and menu to match. Surprisingly their menu had the standard pub fare, plus much more. We made our selections and in no time at all, our meal was served! The food was great and good portions for both of us. We followed with one of their specials and it was delicious. Anyone visiting the Black Diamond area should definitely take advantage of the Hotel bar and restaurant... Well worth the visit!

A lot cooler than I thought it was going to be. I would love to be able to see a live band here one night

Awesome, 👌 amazing👏 food, hubby, and I just stopped in on a whim and drive. Alannah, our waitress was quick, courteous, and had very helpful suggestions.

I arrived early. I was meeting some friends and they had not arrived yet. I waited and the server was nice enough to bring me water as I waited. I waited some more. The server brought me more water. Finally my friend messaged me to order wings for the group. I did just before the kitchen closed. I could tell they wanted to get out early and I just ruined that for them. They made the wings and the wings were good and a great price on wing night. The service was great too. Ambiance was great , not too loud. I am not in this part of town too often but when I am, I like to stop in here.

Amazing service and the food came out fast. Restaurant has very reasonably prices.
