Tried the steak sandwich. Cooked to perfection! Absolutely delicious! Service was excellent! From the moment I walked in the hostess was inviting and very friendly. I highly recommend this lovely place. I sat on the patio... breath taking view of the ocean! What more could you want?

Went to the pub today for a quick dinner. Got the loaded burger and grilled chicken burger. Both meals came out quick and the food was hot and fresh. Tasted great. Our server Nicky was extremely friendly and made our experience a good one. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a relaxed cozy vibe to it and an ocean view. Would recommend checking this place out.

My son Chris, who cooks there, took me out for for a lunch treat. Was my first time at Lantzville Pub and I will definitely be back for more meals 😊. Recommending to friends as well. Thank you son!

Nice location and very good honest pub grub. It was very busy at lunchtime so the lack of empty tables said it all about its popularity. Just down the road we found the last remaining props of the old coal loading wharf with the security detail in place as per the picture.

First time here.The food was excellent, the staff was super friendly and had great recommendations.

More like a restaurant than a pub.
Food is great. I've eaten here a few times with different people, and as far as I know we've all enjoyed the food.
Staff are pretty quick and accommodating.
You can make reservations too, which can be handy.

The Lantzville Pub: A century old classic pub, but without all the saloon behaviour. This place has great food, complimented by ocean views and a recently overhauled small town main street. The service is fantastic. Live music every now and then rounds out the experience.

We found this place via Google search. They happen to have live band the day we went, it was packed but we managed to get a table. Due to short staff in kitchen, they had last call at 8:30pm that day so hours may not be the same everyday, better check before you go if you go late.
The portion is generous and delicious for both dishes we had: fully loaded burger and pork schnitzel.

Great food! Not too greasy. It was a smidge difficult to ask about dietary restrictions and confirm this, but they ultimately made it happen. I would recommend.

I always pass by this place, but today I finally got to try out the food. The pub is located in a bedroom community north of Nanaimo. It has great views from its patio of the waters. However it's plus 30, so we opted to go inside where it's air conditioning. Both the patio or inside offer a lot of table space. We came on a Thursday afternoon, so the crowd was just enjoying the afternoon sun and beers.

My friend ordered the clubhouse ($18) and beer ($5.50). I went with the pork schnitzel ($20) and pop ($2.50). The clubhouse my friend ordered was very good and the beer was nice and cold. My pork schnitzel was outstanding with a nice gravy and mushroom sauce. It was cooked well and tasted wonderful. The mash potatoes and steam vegetables were good, but I would like spaetzle and pickled cabbage. Still I quite enjoyed it.

I believe they have a happy hour special from 2-5 pm, which we missed. The server was nice and the food came out quick. For an older building they did a great job making the washroom nice and clean. The dining area has air conditioning and the table and chair was good. I would definitely recommend and return again.

Friendly pub with great service and food. We sat out on the patio since it was a hot day and had the fish n chips and the pork schnitzel which were both really good.
The restroom was really clean it didn't seem like a pubs.

I had a great time at this pub. The service was fast and friendly. I had a delicious BLT sandwich with a house salad. The salad came with a very tasty and unique balsamic/maple syrup vinaigrette. We also had some delicious carrot cake for dessert which was excellent! We shared a pitcher of beer for $20! This pub is a great spot visit ! The ocean view is also a great bonus.

It was Appy special.

Staff are attentive, service was excellent.
We sat in the patio area where the view is awesome.
The hanging baskets and flower boxes are so pretty.

Was with a different friend for lunch today.
The weather is awful
The walk up from the parking lot is like a river.
Our fish and chip lunch was tasty
The Dark Matter pint washed it down.

Service is outstanding 👏, atmosphere is like my Grannie's wood house.

Good meal, nice place, friendly staff, perfect end of the day.

My husband and I just had a nice lunch date and we loved the roast beef dip, it was perfect, the yam fries and dips were perfect and the frost mugs of beer were also perfect. Service with a smile was a great bonus. Thank you Lantzville Pub
