We really enjoyed our meals. Their price is much better compared to Winnipeg for the same type of food. We tried their ribs, beef brisket and pulled pork and will come back to try the steaks and other items. The service was good and fast too. Nothing to complain honestly. P.s: Ask for their corn bread and honey butter, very worth to try!

Been dying to go there for a bit and finally had the chance to! We chose the Burned Ends and the Bigg Q. I must say that my favourite out of everything was the burned ends. Had a lot of flavour and just shredded up so easily.

I think the ribs could’ve been a little saucier and the brisket was a little dry but I’ll say it was an anomaly and I’ll probably come back and try more of their other meats.

Awesome staff, friendly, knowledgeable about the history and food. Great atmosphere, a change from the bustling city scene. Worth the travel from in Winnipeg. Definately planning more trips for the food.

Great place to have a meal. Unique layout and design of the restaurant. Great food at a great price. I recommend trying all their BBQ sauces that they have on their tables.

We went to Bigg Smoak in Steinbach today for the first time. It's a pretty large place in an interesting building - apparently it used to be a 50's themed drive-in, and I like the style. We ate on the patio, which is almost completely enclosed, so you get the fresh air, but stay in the shade.....very nice....I hate baking in the sun while I eat.

Service was excellent, start to finish. Our server was top notch, friendly, and fast. The food was great! I had brisket and ribs, with sides of beans and a baked potato. The brisket was tender, but not mushy....a good mix of lean and fat. The ribs were tasty and perfectly cooked, though there wasn't a lot of meat on them. Cornbread was perfect, the beans were excellent and did NOT taste like they came from a can.

My wife went for the potato skins appetizer as her lunch. She got 5 half-potatos LOADED with pulled pork and other goodies. She was stuffed after 2 pieces.....this one could easily be shared by 3 or 4 people as an appetizer.

I like that they bring you a selection of sauces to play with. I'm partial to mustard-based sauces, and their Manitoba Gold was great, along with 3 other more traditional ones.....all delicious.

We wanted dessert, but just didn't have room.

The prices were VERY reasonable.

I wouldn't hesitate for a second to go back.

The food is always amazing and the only thing better than the food is the staff! Always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Bigg Smoak if you’re looking for authentic southern bbq!

We had y’all cater our work safety meeting and boy oh boy the food was the best I’ve ever had! The flavor was superb and every bite was packed with flavor and excitement. 10/10 highly recommended

Went with my wife and mom and it was impressive all around. Great local beer and cocktails enjoyed by the ladies. Friendly staff. We all ordered the ‘Big Smoak’ which is 2 meats and 2 sides. Everything was available. The ribs really stood out and add the Texas sauce for a perfect bite. I had the fully loaded baked potato and really enjoyed that. A lot of reasons to go back! My wife spent a few years in Texas and said there wasn’t anything as good there. Highly recommended the trip to Steinbach for this one!

In the summer i drive from Winnipeg to Steinbach every Sunday for their BBQ. In the winter one or twice a month. Always ALWAYS terrific. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and polite. They are run off their feet often and maintain their level of service. Every single person i recommended to them has raved about them and thanked me. Brisket and ribs are incredible. BBQ done right!!

Great food and great service. Portions were good and smoke flavour was amazing. If you’re from the city, take a drive out, you’ll enjoy!

Came for dinner with friends on December 18th we have never been here before. I am very critical with smoked meat as I do a lot of my own and can be very picky about it. I must say the food was absolutely amazing from burnt ends to chicken I was extremely happy and so were others in my party. Also have to mention our waitress was absolutely amazing if I could give this place more than five Stars I would. The portions are absolutely wonderful and the value is incredible especially in these times. We are definitely going to come back here a few more times as there was lots of menu items that I have not tried yet LOL. Great job guys don't change a thing or the way you're doing it!

With a farmhouse country feel & amazing BBQ & slow smoked options along with tradional food options this place easily ranks #1 with our group. Outshines Montana's steak house with their food quality consistency & amazing service while keeping prices reasonable. 10 out of 10!!

Had the brisket, pork ribs and pulled pork. Absolutely delicious. Close to Texas BBQ as you can get in Manitoba.

Excellent service. Went for an early lunch. Service was great, took the time to give suggestions and recommendations of what to order. Great quality food. Cannot wait to come back again.

Did the pulled pork, brisket, sausage, corn bread with honey butter, fries, Mac and cheese.

Great place with excellent service and a full menu with lots of options. Wings were extra meaty, burnt ends were great too. Pulled pork was a little dry, but tasty and the brisket and ribs were amazing! Recommended, it's worth the trip and it won't break the bank.

Definitely one of the best BBQ Places in Manitoba.

Best. Southern BBQ place in Winnipeg (Steinabach) It is smokey, delicious, reasonably priced, and has great service. Even a 30 min drive on a stormy day is worth it for this food. This is what I asked for my birthday dinner 🙂

I remember having bit of a coworkers left over burnt ends and how delicious they were, so I had to come try it hot off the press and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! I would say this has to be one of the best experiences I’ve had! Everyone was friendly! The food was delicious and filling and I couldn’t even eat all my food! I will be coming back to try something new next time!
