Bear Mountain Activity Centre

Best money I’ve spent since being on the island. The staff here feels like friends and family. I’ve been coming here almost daily for the last 3 plus months and haven’t had a bad experience yet and I’m a very picky guy. The place is always clean and equipment in working order. They also keep the salt water pool heated year round. Really looking forward to my first summer here!

I've been a member of BMAC for quite some time now, and I must say that this gym has truly become my second home. Really nice & clean boutique gym which also has a separate women's workout gym downstairs from the main upper gym. There's a great outdoor salt water pool & hot tub and towel service.

Absolutely stunning! Everyone is so friendly, its so clean and its definitely a luxury gym and activity centre.

I wish the pool was a bit warmer in the winter but I totally understand how expensive and HARD that might be.

Just walked the BMAC Connector, Valley Loop, and Canada Cup with my 5 year old feline. Incredible views that hilite the vastness and beauty of the Valley Golf Course. You'll love it!

My experience at the NLREC has always been top notch! The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The gym is always clean and the outdoor pool and hot tub is amazing! They offer wicked pool parties in the summer with DJ every Saturday/Sunday. Highly recommend!!

Hired a bike to use the trails there while I was visiting family nearby. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. The rental prices were reasonable and the trails themselves pretty good. Personally I don't think the trail marking was as good as it could be (I went the wrong way a couple of times) but I would certainly recommend the experience.

The north Langford rec center is a great place to work out, my experience with the staff has been amazing and everyone is super nice and helpful. It also has a lovely pool deck with a cabana that's open in the summer that serves awesome food and drinks. The north Langford rec center is my top choice whenever it comes to wanting to relax or workout.

I love this place! Not a huge gym but everything you need for a good workout plus beautiful pool / hot tub facilities. I highly recommend a summer visit to take advantage of the poolside drink service. Thanks!

I think the staff and facilities are awesome. Lots of free classes and access to pool and hot tub with the membership which people don't realize makes it more than worth it. Plus summer parties and a pool cabana in the summer. Ignore the butthurt people.

Amazing gym, incredible staff, and the best outdoor saltwater pool in the city! Best place to spend your free time! It's a must visit during your vacation plans to the island!

Great gym on bear mountain, super friendly staff, great pool and hot tub, and an ever growing facility. The pool parties are super rad as well!

Beautiful place, I enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and hot tub this winter during our 2 week bear moutain stay.

This place is like being in a mini resort. Get food and drinks poolside before 5pm. Awesome salt water pool.
