Cineplex VIP Cinemas Don Mills

This is my go-to movie theatre! It’s not as busy and crowded compared to other cinemas, and the rooms are cozy. Some servers do take longer to come to our seats and take our orders, but once they do they are very friendly.

Have been to this theatre a number of times, and truly this review is less about the theatre and more about the customer service and guest experience… but I wanted to at the server working tonight was by far the best service we’ve had at a VIP location. He was very knowledgeable about allergy options, patient, attentive and friendly. Jaylen (I hope I spelled that right) was great!
Also nachos are amazing if anyone is wondering !

Loved it. The experience was👌. The seats very comfy and nice. The service experience for me was good too even though I didn’t order anything.

Manager (Indian girl) always had a smile and was always professional. Had no complaints other than the movie (Dune 2) was not as entertaining as critics rated it to be. The Manager treated me like a person and not a customer. I appreciated her hospitality and want to say that it is not very often that you come across a manager who actually deserves to have that level of authority. Thank you Cineplex VIP for all the great staff you have hired at your Shops at Don Mills location!

I have social anxiety so I don’t do crowds. This place was awesome! No crowds at all and it was a #1 box office movie. I had no anxiety issues at all by selecting the aisle seat in the middle. Service was excellent and it was so clean. My sis and I agreed this is our spot now ❤

My favourite movie theatre to go to watch movies. It makes the movie watching experience that much better and makes a significant difference compared to the regular movie theatres. Always come here whenever I want to see a new movie that just came out. The chairs are comfy and spacious, food is good and prices are reasonable. Best day to watch a movie is Wednesday for date night where you get a shared app. two entrees and a shared dessert. Really lives up to the dinner and a movie experience.

Such an amazing experience. Seats are comfortable, staff is very polite. You can order food while watching the movie from their menu and the server brings your order to your seats. No more lining up. It's a bit expensive compared to other regular theatres but the comfort you get is much worth it.

Great VIP Cineplex experience! Convenience location and easy free parking in gargage nearby! Very clean theatre with proper Covid safety protocols. Spacious and comfortable seating, and most importantly very friendly and helpful customer service! Ticket prices at a VIP theatre are much higher than regular theatre but worth the experience! Food and drinks are ordered while seated and delivered to your seat. Bonus for me - 19+ theatre! Would definitely be back and recommend to others!

Luxurious and spacious place to watch movies. Has a very high-end atmosphere that is perfect for special occasions to watch a movie with friends. Whether it may be to celebrate a birthday or for a date night, this is a great place for movie lovers! Great menu as well.

I have kids and adore them but having a place to see movies like The Little Mermaid with no kids around is great. The food was delicious! It's so great that you can have dinner right in the theatre (I had a chicken sandwich). The seats were super comfortable and the staff was really nice.

Super comfy seats, they recline all the way. And you can order food from your seat. Great movie watching experience.

My favourite Cineplex of all! It's chic, it's trendy... well better I'll go with my 1-2-3 on this 😊

2) Reserved seats so don't worry if you are little bit late 🏷
3) A truly VIP experience🎥🎬: Nicely decorated location, no need to line up for food, you can enjoy a booze while seeing your favorite movie and they have significantly improved their menu. I must even admit that going to the washrooms is a VIP experience! 😁

Drawback? Well, just be prepared to disburse ~$100 in that outing 💰💸

BTW, I find VIP #3 to be very uncomfortable as all seats are all together as any regular movie with the difference of leg-space and a wider seat.

Great to bring visiting family and friends. You won't regret it!

Great place to see movies undisturbed by the distractions in modern movie theatres: kids talking, feet kicking the back of your seat, etc.

The seats are larger, more comfortable and have enough room in the aisle to get by others without disturbing them or requiring them to stand up to allow you to pass. And a large side table holds your food and beverages which waiters bring to you. There is something special in having a glass of wine or beer with your movie these days.

The washrooms are well-appointed and individual rooms which I enjoyed.

The Lounge is nice when you are there a bit early or want to catch up with your date before going into the theatre.

Where I would lower the stars to 3 is in the dining. The food is decent. We enjoyed the calamari our last visit. On a recent visit we tried the Tandoori Chicken Flatbread (way too much sauce - overpowering; just the right amount of goat's cheese) and the Buffalo Chicken Tenders (he loved the salad but found the chicken too spicy - it's about medium hot - and I wasn't a fan of the breading). If I had time I'd pick one of the other restaurants pre- or post-show.

For drinks we've enjoyed wine, beer and the Peach Mimosa (they serve the champagne split separately so you can add it as wanted to the slushy peach).

Strangely enough the best tacos I've had this side of the Rio Grande.

This place is our go to theater. It's peaceful and comfortable. Staff were always accommodating and friendly.

Watched Black Panther tonight at this theatre. Loved the prompt service with a smile. There’s free parking in the nearby parking structure. In the upstairs area of the theatre there’s a bar for food/drinks before the movie. Further, as part of the VIP service they offer seat side service until the beginning of the movie. Enjoy your film!

This is the best VIP theater. I've been to many but have the beat experince here, every time. You can grab a drink or food upstairs in the lounge or outdoor patio (for the outdoor patio, you don't need a movie ticket). Food and drinks have improved over the years! In seat service is always the best option, bathrooms are very clean. I also like that a few of their theaters here have full recliners. I feel like if I go to a VIP movie, I only want the recliners. Easy to find parking at the covered garage which is a short walk away.

Love heading out to this location. VIP can be a bit pricey for sure, but it's nice having the option of having a 19+ theatre without a poor uninterested child that got dragged by their parents to the movies. The theatres are smaller, allowing each row to have ample leg room. Some auditoriums do not have full recliners. Don't rely on the cineplex app to order your food, it's prone to bugs and crashes. The staff will take your order and bill you right at your seat. The trays could be a bit bigger however.

Very nice place, the lounge is beautiful, bathrooms are clean, i was greeted when i went up by the lounge after i purchase my tickets for Terminator Movie at the machine. The waiter assist me and my date to the movie theatre and was told we would have menus by our seats. The Waiter was very nice and he recommended a nice sangria drink and it was so good. My favourite was the crispy chicken sandwich it was so good along with the fries and strawberry cheese cake!! The seats are very comfortable, felt like i was home lol. Overall, Good service. I would recommend this place.

Once you go vip you'll never want to go back to regular theatres. No more sticky floors and kids yelling. It's also in a great area to leaisure (shop at Don Mills) with solid restaurants to go to after. They also make sure to social distance, so you're never sitting beside anyone you don't know.
