New Amsterdam Pub

Food and service were great! I was impressed with the fish and chips especially- no digging around looking for fish in a heavy thick batter. Instead the batter was light and hardly seemed greasy at all. I noticed the giant patio too, so I’m very much looking forward to coming here in summer. Thanks for the good time :)

We stopped into New Amsterdam yesterday for lunch during a drive down Highway 3 and were very pleasantly surprised!

I had perch and fries, my wife had haddock and poutine, and our son had mozzarella sticks. Everything was delicious! The breading on the perch was crisp and the fish itself was excellent. My wife's fish was very tasty a day the gravy with the poutine was very good.

The meal was very reasonably priced too. Where else can you get two lunches, a starter, beer and pop for $60?

Service was friendly and prompt.

We had our five-year-old son with us. The interior isn't really meant for kids, as it's all high-top tables. Doesn't bother us, but may be an issue for other families.

Overall it was a great lunch and I'd definitely return again.

Fantastic authentic Amsterdam vibe! The patio seating during this unprecedented time surpassed any expectations, but when the food arrived I knew Dunvile now had its celebrity bar. The service was quaint and delightful also informative. The third degree hot sauce was jovial and the flavour of everything really packs a punch to keep me coming back for more. 10/10, five star, 100%.

ST Patrick day sounds like it's gonna be fun.

The food was fantastic! My husband had the Frikendal special and I had the beef Kroketten with fries. Everything was delicious. And they have great fries, so crispy. Our server was also very nice. And the prices honestly can't be beat.

Their menu is absolutely to die for. I love their fish and I love their hamburgers I love basically everything on their menu. Their service is kind and friendly the owner is a wonderful man you'll bend over backwards to make sure you have a great experience at his pub and the wait staff as well.

Their beer is cold, and their hamburger was a 5star.
The guy beside me at the bar was also a very nice regular patron. Added to the friendly service I received from a very busy place that day.

Super cozy and clean. The menu is delicious. Fresh fresh fresh! Great daily specials Wing night Is definitely worth repeating.The staff here is excellent.Morgan is a star! Great multiple screens for lots of sports!

We ordered the frikandel special, the kroketten, and the fish and chips. All of them were excellent, and the fries were just perfect. Super recommended if you happen to be around Dunnville.

Small quaint place. Ordered the Haddock and chips and it was great! Our server was friendly. No complaints.

Had the Friday nite special of fish and chips. Had option of either 1 or 2 piece. Came with your tarter and coleslaw. The fish is huge, light batter and fries are good. My husband and friend are picky fish eaters and found New Amsterdam having the best fish in the area ( we are from Hamilton, I mean this area as well). Service was punctual, staff came and checked in on our table. Great job New Amsterdam!

Good food great prices and fast friendly service

Came after a day on the beach at 6.30 pm. Great food, friendly service and all in a timely manner also allowed our dog to stay on the patio 👍👍. Tried some Dutch items off the menu and they were very tasty. The best part was the cold beer. 😊

The best! We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident but it is a new favourite. Pub style food but made perfectly and deliciously! The haddock and fries were perfect and the chicken burger was fresh, made with a real chicken breast and fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The side salad was fresh and delicious. A bonus- 9oz wine for under $6. The ambience was quaint and cozy. We will make the trip from Grimsby to Dunnville again!

Great little spot! Went in after a long day of moving a friend, so we were tired and starving lol. Both had burgers and fries, and a bunch of wings and it was a great meal. Really good wings, both burgers were cooked well, and definitely filled us up. Will definitely be going back!

We came across the Amsterdam after a day at the beach. It's spacious and cheerful patio beckoned to us to for a leisurely dinner to continue our leisurely day. Each extra large brightly colored picnic table is decorated with an equally large and colorful planter of well kept petunias. The small town friendly service and fresh food did not disappoint. Although the restaurant was hopping busy our waitress remained relaxed and attentive, making time to share with us points of interest of Dunnville. If you are looking for a treat of deep fried fish, entertaining back ground music and a friendly relaxed atmosphere I'd highly recommend a stop at the Amsterdam.
