Wainfleet Motel & Restaurant

Dated but clean. Beautiful new washrooms help take the room better. The folks are pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant is a hidden gem with some of the best dishes I have had in a long, long time. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Even the salad with the chefs special dressing is a feast to the palate.

Ok the front looks warn down but we were attracted to the full parking lot, that usually means the food is good.

I have to echo the other reviews …the chef prepares wonderful food but the atmosphere could use some improvements. The staff is always friendly but sometimes a bit slow. Regardless, I have been here several times with my family and work colleagues - large parties and small - and have never had a bad meal! Worth the trek and all I can say is “don’t judge a book by its cover!”

This is my absolute favourite restaurant! I have been going here for 3 or so years and the food has always been delicious and perfectly cooked. The service has always been fast, friendly and efficient. Never been let down once here. Cant wait to go again! I highly recommend.

Honestly this place exceeded our expectations. My girlfriend and I didn't feel like driving back to Toronto and decided to drop by the restaurant while in the area and since it was getting late we also got a room. Excellent value for the money. The room was recently renovated, was clean and the bed was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was amazing, lots of choices. The owner of the place is a very nice guy and very accommodating. The staff at the restaurant very friendly and very welcoming. Check out this place if you're in the area. It'll be worth your time and money.

This place is a must try if you have never been. The chef is outstanding, you would never expect it from a quiet little place like Wainfleet but it's worth the trip. We have been coming here for years to get the steak dinners and will continue to come here anytime we want a steak and don't want to cook ourselves.

We love going to the restaurant. Eddy is a marvelous chef and has never disappointed us.

This place is an absolute gem. The owner, as I understand it, decided to leave the big city and settle in a small town and took over what was the local "family restaurant and tavern", and what he has done with it was brilliant. The menu has lots of great options, from lamb shanks to pastas and all sorts of in between, and the night were were there, there were also some great specials. I think they were busier than expected as our server was definitely a bit busy, but we weren't in a rush and that didn't bother us at all.

I wound up going with the sausage penne, and the portion was substantial, so much so that it was my lunch the next day too.

Great value, friendly service, some nice wines on offer, overall a winner.

From Sunday brunch to weekday lunch to Friday night dinner this is a very nice small town local find. They recently renovated, painted, and upgraded the lighting. Now the decor matches the food - which was always excellent.
Have their liquor license and different specials all the time. Food is always very good and reasonably priced. The menu is western/Canadian fare, and haven't had a bad meal there. From burgers to salmon with a strawberry salsa, it's all good.
My only wish is that the chef would stretch his comfort zone. I'm sure he is capable of making an excellent variety of ethnic dishes. Although a small town may not be the place to stray from the proven success of a delicious and well prepared Prime Rib.

I ordered the Prime Rib special. Not only was it perfectly cooked, the beans and mashed potatoes were excellent as well. You can tell there is a chef in the kitchen, and not just a cook. I've never been disappointed when having a meal here.

We had dinner here and it was great! Prime Rib and pan seared salmon. Both made to perfection! The prices were great and the service was too! You should give this place a try! Open 10 to 10 weekdays. Weekends 8 to 10

Very nice small town restaurant! I order the long beach wrap and it never disappoints. Very reasonably priced, and waitresses are great.

Their food specials are amazing! Loved the summer salad with grilled shrimp.

Great breakfast/brunch buffet on Sunday Mornings. They have a great range of items, even a soup. Nice if you want to mix traditional breakfast with a bit of lunch. There is also a crepe station, with both sweet and savory choices and a salad station. Love the option of salad with my breakfast! My 10 year old son loves the pasta for breakfast...he will eat pasta all day long! My daughter loves the eggs and my youngest loves the french toast. We try to get here regularly. Mothers day is usually packed, make a reservation if you can or get in early.

We just finished dinner here. Omg the food was absolutely delicious. Warm goat cheese spinach salad with walnuts dried cranberries was high class restaurant worthy. Jim has a mushroom sausage shrimp linguine in a tomato sauce. Delicious. We will be back to try more on the menu. 😘

Great steak and all meals are well prepared with man size portions . The units are clean and modern all top shelf there . One thing adding Wi-Fi would put them on top in Niagara region for rural motels and no pay buy the hour stuff also they pet friendly

Went to the resturant for a family members birthday. Utterly FANTASTIC food, seriously where did this place come from? Chef trained in France and he is putting up shop in Wainfleet, go to this place. It is a hidden gem, amazing food with solid prices. Gained a customer for sure
