Went for lunch, had the pickerel fish and chips 3pc lots of food very tasty not to greasy more like a fish fry style. Highly recommend this place easy going nice view lots of space for a dog and stroller on the patio. #easygoing #self-serve

This is such a beautiful place! Great food with an amazing view. The staff were super friendly and the food we had was absolutely delicious! Would definitely come back next time we are in town.

It's very nice place to get fresh fish and chips. Fish is reeeeeally fresh, like right now from the lake. And good view to the river and light breeze from the patio.

Cheerful waitresses. FAST service. Good size portions variety of fish meals..burgers too! Salads chilled and fresh. Lovely spot to watch boats moored. Always breezy but some days bees can be present by wharf.

Went yesterday with my family (I had the Perch, fries and Shrimp combo), and had a great time! Service was excellent, the food was excellent, and its hard to beat the view! It's maybe an older place but it's kept up well and truly a hidden gem with great prices. Highly recommend!

Really great spot! We ordered on the phone and the food was ready in 15 minutes. The staff was really kind. the food was tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely have to go back when there is nice weather and the patio is open.

Fun setting and superior food. @August2021, service is "take-out only", but you can carry it (+ a beer or two) to their large, covered patio and watch the boats come & go. Service was quick and the food was better than other local alternatives. A tiny gem of a place.

Beautiful spot just south of Dunnville on the river, the food was delicious and barely had to wait 10 minutes for our food... I highly recommend this place for relaxing early dinner destination!

We found this place under places on my phone page & we decided to make a trip out & try their fish. We had the pickerel & it was amazing. You have to try their sticky toffee pudding also, it is the best. We will be back.

Great for fresh perch and pickerel, fries are okay. If you're looking for something other than fish I would recommend the Buffalo Chicken Fingers. Not a superb selection of beer, but the standards are there (Coors, Corona)

Overall a great experience sitting by the marina!

Fish and chips and burger were excellent. A nice little spot, would be nice to dine there when things reopen. We called in our order and it was ready quickly. Very friendly staff.

Had an absolutely awesome early pickerel and perch combo, 5 other items selected in our party. All amazing. While the Marina got the boat taken care of. Awesome spot.

We first had the pleasure of eating at the Thirsty Mate in Dunnville in the summer of 2019.We loved the location, staff were beyond accommodating (getting water for our dog who goes most everywhere we do), and the food was AMAZING.With Covid, they did not open in 2020.Well I saw a post on facebook that they were opening for takeout May 21st/21.We were unable to go last night but did tonight.I got my usual, scallop dinner and hubby got the shrimp dinner, and a weiner for the pampered pooch.WOW...I truly enjoyed it.Excellent job folks!!! We wll return again and again....

I got the Fisherman's combo. 3 filets of pickerel, 3 filets of perch, 3 scallops,6 shrimp, fries and coleslaw for 19$ Great service, food and view. Right on the Grand in Port Maitland. Love this place

Ordered two of the perch and shrimp dinners. LOTS of food for the price. Coleslaw was tasty (was vinaigrette based) and the buns were amazing. Will be back!

There was a dog-friendly patio space, the servers were friendly and the food was great. Reasonable prices. Easy place to stop with a boat, eat and get fuel before continuing on the water.

you cant beat the view and setting of the grand river. the food is reasonable and portions good. everything is fried but their perch with chips is great!

Absolutely fantastic food the view is great service is excellent you can pull up with your Waverunner Sea-Doo or boat fuel up cuz there is a fuel on site at the dock there is ample parking for boats at the slip and easy to get into and out of Harbor although it is a no wake zone the view is overlooking the Grand River as it enters the mouth of Lake Erie the food is absolutely phenomenal with great prices I would highly recommend this place especially on nice summer days however indoor seating is extremely limited to about for tables outdoor they have a massive outside patio even brought my dog there once and the people were cool about it look forward to going again this summer
