Long Beach Conservation Area and Campground

We loved our experience tent camping at Long Beach Conservation. Staff are incredibly friendly, and accommodating and activities are offered on the weekends. Spot 404 was perfect for us, just steps from the beach below with phenomenal views. There are covered pavilions, a new playground with tether ball, basketball & volleyball. Bathroom was clean. My kids loved playing with the rocks on the shoreline and the shallow water. We also made the very short and enjoyable canoe ride over to the neighbouring free public sandy beach but if you prefer to drive, it is a literally a few minutes away and offers free parking.

Overall enjoyed the long weekend at Long Beach, our campsite had a decent amount of privacy away from others and everyone in the camping ground was friendly. There were activities set up for the weekend as well (50/50, movie night for kids, movie night for adults)

Had a great long weekend here recently! Bob and his staff were great and the Campground is well kept with nice sized sites. A little busy on weekends, but that's to be expected.

Clean. Well maintained. Close to beach ⛱. Very friendly service at front entrance . Jackpot lol.
Beach mostly with stone, so take your shoes with you. Price at the moment 8 per person or 24 for car. Hope this review will help you.

Easy access to the beach just steps away. Great spot to camp for week.

Great park. Nicely maintained and amazing staff. They are extremely Polite and courteous. Management aims to please and takes pride in their park and staff. Thank you for making our season’s wonderful ones!

Super place with great access to a pebbly beach..

Nice place for family camping. The beach is nice but you need to wear water shoes. My toddler son loves the playground and playing by the beach. My husband said he wants to come back next time.

Camped here in our pop-up. We were even able to go kayaking in Lake Erie. It was a great time and we will definitely be back. Everyone was very friendly and the kids had a great time playing with new friends

Great place for camping. I have been camping at long beach since I was a kid in the 90's and I have always had a good time. The beaches themselves are pretty good. They do have alot of stones in the water that are hidden from view, you might want to wear swim shoes. There are also alot of waves here, and sometimes the surf can get a little hazardous for small kids.

Also, while I am not a windsurfer, I guess windsurfing is huge here, and I can see why. We had 20 to 40 k/hr winds the whole 4 days I was camping. Dozens of windsurfing sails on that water every day

Beach is very clean and not crowded. Love the new playground that you can download an interactive app for!! We didnt camp, just go to swim for the day.

The park is amazing. Very nice friendly people.. never had bad experience there.. friendly staff.. very respectful people.. very close to beach.. people are helpful there.. totally going back there.. affordable prices and responsible.. sites are fair sizes.. washroom very clean.. and clean air.. if it really quiet you can hear the water from the beaches.. very nice fishing spots also..

The beach is amazing and sandy! This rating is on the beach alone can't speak to any other parts of the area!

Excellent place for camping or just a day trip to the beach with the family. Well kept areas for the kids to play and swim. Pavilions to picnic at. And If you can do without some creature comforts the lakefront non service sites have an incredible view!

Just a beautiful beach with lots of collectables to find on it for children to do crafts with and to create bonding time with them

Great place to enjoy remaining summer days

I have grown up on Lake Erie and have enjoyed many walks along the cost. The beach at the Long Beach Concervation area is gorgeous and great for swimming and family fun and adventure. No lifeguard though so keep a close eye on any young or inexperienced swimmers as the under toe can be quite strong.
