A little empty but always clean. The Janitorial staff are stellar. They're always smiling and jovial. The bathrooms are clean.

The help desk tends to have staff who are decidedly less approachable but whenever I call or ask for help they provide it with respect and attention to detail.

As someone with resting 'Mean' face, don't let their expressions dissuade you, they are almost always patient and willing to help. We, as customers, are not entitled to forced happiness as long as the staff is courteous and respectful and I think it's important to let more people know that.

Staff are there to help give directions, sell products and prepare the strollers and carts. They aren't required to be your daily boost of dopamine.

Also I think the area they are in is quite dark and removed and the mall should provide them with more lights(unless the staff are light sensitive.) Because it always looks like a dark cavern they have to sit in all day.
But business and service wise they are great.

I spend over 2 hours today with the sweetest girl named Zoe who was great helping me with a problem I had with my cell phone when I decided to switch over to rogers because they gave me a great deal, but as soon as they switched me over my phone got locked and virgin spent all that time trying to get me unlocked which for some reason wouldn't unlock so I cancelled rogers and went back to virgin... They do have the best service and the best help I have ever received. I couldn't be more thankful for all the time Zoe spent with me.

One of my favorites places to visit when in the town of Saint John, Lot of shopping for sure.
Seems like a happy place, people are friendly and doesn't seem like you have to rush or being rushed.

Update: macalister is still the best mall in the city but it is slowly dying down.

Holiday hours have been increased to 9:00 p.m. however it was quiet shopping experience especially upon the holidays

Very decent shopping centre lots of stores they even have an Mountain Warehouse in this mall so exciting!!!!

Great little mall that has everything you need.

Mall is spotless, many signs provided for locating stores.. Great variety of popular stores, food court is keep very tidy during busy hours..

Immense shopping mall , with all sort of stores very well maintained. Really impressive is the variety of business there available. But Today, May-13-2023 it was crowded the fire Alarm rang very loud and dispersed the customers.

Great place to shop and eat something quick. Clean and organized.

It is a mall. What more can I say about it. Takes almost an hour for me to get there by bus from the other end of town.

Location is clean and easy to navigate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Helped me locate exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend shopping here any day of the week, or weekend :)
