Uptown Cappuccino

I have been here a few times now, and this is now one of my favourite coffee shops (coming from Vancouver).

Service- genuine, friendly, fantastic
Food- I’ve just had the grilled cheese, potato salad and various baked goods, always fresh and delicious.
Coffee- perfect. I usually get an oat milk latte.
The cafe itself is welcoming and always a clean bathroom.

They have served us even when well closed, which is so greatly appreciated!

Sharon makes the best homemade burgers ever, plus the ice coffees are so good!

Highly recommend making this cafe your first stop when you come to Gold River!

Don't come to Gold River often, usually just buy gas station food but wanted to try something better. Got a big breakfast(not sure that's the name) from Uptown, amazing food, great friendly service and clean environment. Highly recommend if you're looking for quick bite.

Delicious place to grab brekkie and lunches to go on our tree to sea bike loop! Grabbed lunch there one day and went back for brekkie and lunch the next!

A pleasant surprise...this small town cafe makes excellent food with friendly service. I would love to know their secret for perfect Bacon! Ate most of the bacon before thinking to take a picture. Highly recommend.

I always like to have breakfast here, when I'm in town. The coffee is very good and the BLT sandwich makes me drooling just thinking about it. Definitely recommend...

This is the perfect homey cafe for a town like Gold River.

I stopped in after some hiking (last year) on the Elk River Falls trail, and was starving. My hunger was well met from one of their breakfast sandwiches and surprisingly tasty coffee. The young lady working the cafe at the time was very friendly and nice.

Clean bathrooms too!

Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, tasty food. A well loved cornerstone restaurant/cafe that we frequent regularly. Their iced coffees are made with frozen coffee ice cubes, it’s the beverage that keeps on going! The breakfast hash is our go to for dining in for brunch and the burgers are great for lunch.

Classic, local cafe that makes you feel right at home. Simple menu done right with fresh cookies and pastries baked in house. A true local vibe that is always so welcoming and friendly.

If you're riding your bike from Campbell River to Gold River and back, this is basically the only place to resupply with calories. Fortunately the coffee is good and the staff are very friendly. Edit: I just had toast with peanut butter but that was good too.

Good spot to grab some Coffee and Grub in Goldriver. Nice friendly staff. Took our food to go to the wharf. We would come back here again if we were up in the area. Thanks for being open.

Finding this place was such a treat! The food and coffee were both outstanding, the staff were absolutely delightful, and the locals and other travelers on the patio were fun company. If you’re in Gold River, be sure to stop in at Uptown Cappuccino!

Great staff, and special touch on the ice coffee with the vanilla syrup and coffee ice cubes! This is the place to be in town.

I was just in town for a weekend motorcycle event, and got breakfast and a drink each morning. Their breakfast sandwiches are to die for. Great drinks too. Incredibly friendly atmosphere.

The staff were friendly and accommodating (even though we rushed in at closing time), the ice cream was delicious, and I wish we had time to browse as they sell all kinds of wonderful things!!

Stopped by on our adventures - coffee was fresh and baking was delicious. Great on a rainy day.

Coffee and breakfast are great, friendly staff. Open at 7am thank goodness. I am a very big fan of the chia latte lots of flavor. Breakfast is cooked very fast and they use real pan fried hash browns with your your choice bread white, whole wheat and rye. She also bakes her own pastry I believe.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food and drinks. Nice outdoor seating. A great place for a meal and drinks.

Nice little place for coffee and breakfast in gold river. We really liked the patio area.
