This place is amazing. The fish and chips are always fresh and delicious. The rest of their menu is super tasty, the weekly offers are making us want to eat there every day. The owner and his staff are wonderful, such a pleasant team. It is so refreshing to be met with a smile and to feel welcomed.

This store is by far my favorite place to order fish from. Always fresh. The manager is very friendly to chat with. They go above and beyond for their customers. Fully recommend this place 👍🏻👍🏻

First time to have lunch at this location. The restaurant is smaller size but cozy. Food was great and service was fast!!!! Will be back for sure. The server believe he’s the owner even gave us coupons for next visits!

First time to try in these restaurant and the food is soooo goood 👌👍 my kids love fish and chips and they love it! And they have a very good service with the customer .the manager Mirmal (im not sure if thata the right name 🤗) he was so customer friendly 👍👍👍

This ain’t no fish tale - this place is AMAZING!! We couldn’t believe how good the fish and chips were from here - first time, and definitely not the last time we’ll be having fish & chips from here! The restaurant is clean and bright and airy, and the proprietor was a really nice guy too! But the fish, OH THE FISH!
They’re currently open at 11:00 and they have a killer special 11-3 (just so you know).
Also - take out containers are ALL PAPER - so - no sweaty fish and recyclable too!!
Go try this for yourself, and be prepared for some AMAZING fish n chips!

My wife and I had the Joey's fish and chips with coleslaw,was delicious!! This was our first time to this location it's a bit small but good enough for a quick meal. The staff were very friendly and had our food out to us fast would highly recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely be going back!! 😋

We don't eat in often, but we always enjoy Joey's. Nirmal is friendle and attentive without being overbearing, serving sizes are generous, and seating is comfortable.

We had 2piece fish & chips and calamari and everything was well cooked, not greasy, served hot with lots of options for sauces (2 vinegars, lemon, and tartar sauce for the fish, tzatziki and cocktail sauce for the calamari)

The waiter was really nice. Fish was good. And it has a cozy small vibe

The fish and chips are EXCELLENT! Also they can make a lot of things dairy free! Including the fish and chips.

Just picked up two, two piece halibut fish and chips. Cooked perfectly! The batter is nice and light not overly greasy, crispy and delicious, 👌💯 best I've had in the area that's for sure.

Always order the dinner for two meal here when I am craving some greasy battered fish and chips - the price is good and the food always hits the spot. My wife always get the mushy peas and although I do not like them, she says they taste great. So if you are into mushy peas I guess you should try them.
I have only every ordered take out from this location so I can't comment much on the restaurant, but the food is always great - even after the drive back home, the fish stays crisp and the fries are not soggy.
I usually feel very sad when I come here to pick up my food because of all the times I have been here I have never seen more than one table in the restaurant ever... not sure how they are still in business, but hopefully they stay around because they are the best place for fish and chips in St. Albert!
