RONA Black Diamond

I have been in here 3 times a day over the last week and the staff have been so helpful with every project I have brought in with me. Tool rental even let me borrow an Allen key to fix a tub handle so I wouldn't have to buy a full set. Love this store, always has what I need or something close too.

I recently used Black Diamond Rona for a large project. They were extreme helpful! The customer service was great from the floor staff to the yard staff, they were always willing to go above and beyond for the customer.
Their staff were always able to bring in what I needed and their lumber quality was very good.
I will definitely use Black Diamond/ Diamond Valley Rona again.

Always a good experience, and usually in and out with a lesson learned or a story heard - makes it more pleasurable and homey. Easy to find layout, wood kept in a yard vs indoors (good good), and this location pretty much has everything including a rental section.

The only criteria that brings this rating to a 4.5 is baseboard/crown/quarter-trim selection. I go to Home Depot for this as there's a) more selection b) actual oak quarter trim/trim available.

Other than that, fantastic place to deal with.

Helpful, knowledgeable staff and great selection of goods especially for the size of our little towns. Built our deck last summer with pre treated timber purchased there.

I have had the greatest opportunity of meeting a wonderful woman named Diane. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She even offered to donate her own time to do a home visit, which she proceeded to fix my window, which absolutely no one could fix. I can’t thank this amazing woman enough. Her kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.

Rona in Black Diamond has the best customer service of anyplace I’ve dealt with. We needed a new shed for our location in Calgary and speaking with Bernie he explained it was no problem. Bernie went through the process and gave us a quote (awesome price) he then introduced us to Rick who would be building the shed. Rick was excellent, he was very articulate and paid close attention to every detail. The shed was finished and delivered right on time by Rick and placed perfectly on our site.

When my granddaughter mistakenly purchased the wrong item, and didn't notice until she had destroyed the wrapping, it was unlikely that she would be able to get a refund. But kudos to the Rona Diamond Valley management! There was no business reason for them to help out, and I certainly would have accepted refusal. But they did help. At the end of the day their bottom line might have suffered a bit, but my respect for them grew. Thank you, Rona! you are a true contributor to our little town.

Good variety of solutions for all kinds of building needs. They also have Friendly staff. They are all very knowledgeable and experienced with all the different product lines. Store Manager Ryan is very friendly and polite. He is also always happy to help .

Very pleasant shopping experience. Staff is friendly and helpful, and store is well stocked. My item shipped quickly and I was notified for pick-up straight away. Yard attendants were pleasant and efficient. Thank's for the great customer service, I will be back for sure.

As a Custom Home Builder and Pole Structure company we use Rona Black Diamond for all of our needs. The knowledgeable staff is always ready to help, even with our last minute orders they are always able to process immediately and have them delivered. Being able to phone an order in and know that it will be ready for immediate pickup upon arrival saves our company time and money. If they do not carry a product that we prefer to use, they are always very quick to have it ordered in and ready for us to pick up. It is always a pleasure to stop in and chat with the staff, they are all very friendly. Hats off to a great local company!!

Always very helpful friendly people working here, the store is well stocked and organized. When needing good quality lumber and supplies this is the choice of many selective contractors. In addition a very efficient Purolator depot is inside this fine store.

Came here for the first time looking for some items they unfortunately did not have in stock, But the staff did all they could to inform me of what I can do, I ended up meeting Matt, one of the store owners and he went above and beyond informing me of the product I was looking for. Keep up the great service guys.
