Aussie Rules Piano Bar

Went there for company Christmas party. The atmosphere is really nice, the performers will take in request for song. The staff are very friendly! The food are alright but as expected for buffet style. Will recommend for anyone who enjoy dining and performance same time.

This venue was amazing! Our group, from Australia, had the best evening. Singing along, dancing, chair dancing is encouraged.
Food and drinks were fantastic. Several in our group had Prawn Tacos and Brocolli Bites, and even ordered a second, not because we were hungry, anything but. Cause they were so good.

Truly impressive! If you go here, you will have a good time. The number of songs these guys can play and the speed at which they learn them is astonishing. They could compete with Spotify! My only critique is that I want to share my love of this place with my dates, but when they request a song from the last 10 years, there's a good chance the pianists won't know it. They used to have two players who were familiar with contemporary songs and comfortable playing that style, but it seems they no longer do. Don’t get me wrong, I love the classics, and the covers are 10 out of 10, but adding a player who also knows newer stuff would bring them up to Avengers level. Nevertheless, I still give it 5 stars. It's one of the best live shows you can see.

It was a lot of fun. Went here with my friend for her birthday. The food was great and reasonably priced. I had the fish and chips and it was really good. They played a lot of songs from different genres and got the crowd involved. Was a fun time.

Great entertainment. They can play any request, it's just depends on what requests they pick (or how much you tip - haha). Happy hour was good and service was good once they establish your table.

Went here for a work event. Bloody great place! The staff were amazing, and the venue is creative and fun! I absolutely love the atmosphere, and the live piano battles were so amazing to witness. They even played chop suey at one point which was incredible!

We were here for a 75th birthday celebration recently and from start to finish the Aussie staff were helpful, responsive and exponentially patient with our large group! We had a fantastic time and the birthday girl is still smiling!

We went for our friends birthday and had an absolute blast. If you want your songs to get played it helps to give them with a bit of money. Was fun dancing on the chairs and belting tunes out loud.

The atmosphere was awesome!!! We enjoyed the live band they were amazing. The servers were excellent, very polite and friendly on top of their game. We ordered calamari, nachos and spinach dip, wings and ribs oh the super hot, hot sauce went well the wings. Service was awesome guys.

I had the opportunity to go to Aussie Rules for a work party last Friday, November 3rd, 2023. The atmosphere was amazing, the piano players did a great job at getting the crowd involved and at one point most of us were up on the stage dancing. Our server Caitlin did an amazing job at making sure everyone had drinks in their hands. Our section had a few different tables and we wondered around a lot. Caitlin was able to get our drink orders right and make sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. It was a great experience, and all of my coworkers had a great time. If you go, make sure you’re ready to have a good time, Aussie, Aussie, Aussie...

Surprised my GF and took her for a fun night..everything was amazing. Kim our waitress was a 12 out of 10...Friendly, fun, funny and on top of everything..
All of the staff in general were very helpful and that speaks to great leadership!
The boys playing were incredible musicians and the ultra-wide range of songs they played was mind boggling..
Well done!

Just stopped in for a private party but it was so much fun! This isn’t a place I’d normally visit but the piano players were incredibly entertaining! I will definitely try to come back

Came to Aussies for a birthday party a couple weeks ago, and had a great time. The pianos were unreal. They played any song that got requested no questions asked. The amount of talent in that room is amazing. Our server Kim was hands down the best we’ve had since going. She was funny, personable and she remembered my drinks the whole night, on top of the rest of my group. Keep that girl around because servers like that are the reason we keep coming back! Friendly door staff, bar staff, yummy food, yummy drinks (The buckets are a blast) not to mention the hilarious and very VERY talented pianist make up for such a fun evening.

I didn't like the missing of the vegetarian options in the menu. Is it so difficult to have a vegetarian burger in the menu? Especially when people consume some alcohol.

Unreal experience!! Everything from the service to the music, incredible night out that I will absolutely recommend to anyone looking for something to do in Calgary!!!

We had our company Christmas Party there in November 2022. We had about 22 people & it was a blast! We found the 4 course meal was a great price & it had an option for everyone. I organized the party with Heather, she had great communication & was on top of everything. Our waitress Ray was AMAZING! She was really on top of our drinks (they were going down quickly), dinner service was easy, even when everyone ordered something different. This was our first time at Aussie Rules & the music, the crowd, the energy was so much fun - we will be back!

Absolutely love this place. Such talented Pianists. The service was great too.
