Safeway Westbrook Shopping Centre

I have a soft spot for this Safeway and honestly miss going to it. I am glad to see they are doing renos and hope it helps brighten everything up. Staff have always been nice and things have kept well stocked. Overall a pretty good grocery store.

Theresa the cashier manager was so helpful and friendly, I had my 3 month old baby’s and needed a hand - she was happy to do it! Great location, with great staff.

This location has great customer service! This location also offers Sensory-friendly shipping every Monday from 7to 9pm. Kudos to them for including people that require accommodation!

Excellent place for some sushi type meals, ready to go sandwiches, what ever you looking for a good sandwich the Safeway is set up for that. And of course I always go to the bakery for some fresh bread & buns. The the rest of the sections in Safeway is very clean & very organized. Whenever I'm at Westbrook I always stop at this Safeway. Very very good, I find!

This location does custom floral arrangements on demand with a fee but worth it. Thanks Christina, the flowers were great !

Best clearance rack in the city! I always find really good bargains and leave with more than I can carry, lol... 😎

Safeway grocery store in the Westbrook mall is a colossal supermarket with many departments including a pharmacy besides farm produce and kitchen necessities.
Although the store faces competition from the giant conglomerate Walmart Super Center in the mall, it does good business because of its fresh produce, competitive prices, and good customer service.
The pharmacist lady was cooperative and helpful even though I went there just to ask for her advice for my wife's eye infection.

The store manager was especially nice to me when I didn't realize that the store was about to close and the cashier ladies were awesome in helping me get my groceries bagged they even called a taxi for me ♡they closed at 10 pm tonight which was nice to know as there holiday hours were buggered me up so I missed a couple of times getting my food for that day but all and all super friendly employees at Safeway I totally recommend using this store as your #1 grocery store in westbrooke s.w

That store is clean and not only does the Beltline store have rienly staff and a clean store but every department has the shelve so the products are displayed so they are
fairly easy to find and display cases look great!
I am 71 so I am a little criticaly looking at displays and how the staff preform at this Safeway checkss all the boxes I have looked at in my mine.

I shop at this store all the time! The staff and management have done such a great job of implementing safety of the customers with diligent work on sanitizing the shopping carts, hand baskets & providing no touch hand sanitizer in the lobby.
I love the large direction markers on the aisle floors as it makes shopping with other shoppers in the store less confusing and safe.
I must mention that the cashiers do such an amazing job at keeping up the positivity and kindness despite all that's happening in the world.
Oh...and it's so nice to see how they have made their store so bright and cheery decorations for Christmas as soon as you see the outside entrance, in the lobby, (LOVE the scent of their cinnamon pine cones!) and immediately the big beautiful poinsettias, Christmas plants in the floral Dept. and throughout the store!!

Very well managed store with courteous staff. Neat and clean, well kept. Close to LRT station. Will definitely recommend to anyone crossing the area.

Great store. Good vibes. Never had a problem with the staff. Super nice at the self serve checkout. Nice change from the Walmart zoo at the other end of the mall. My only complaint is that they don’t sell any NICE bread. It’s all pretty bad. If I need bread and can’t get to Cobbs I’ll go to Walmart because they carry ONE decent bread(La Boulangerie I think).

Almost perfect. Ideally find most of my necessities there. The fresh deli counter has the most wonderful staff!!
Lucy is my all time favourite! Even bought her flowers one time.
Very close by and easy to shop at.

Nice little Safeway, always clean and never too busy. They have a great selection of items that I can't find at other Safeway locations, Such as the Walden Farms brand.

Always friendly staff, always clean, and shelves usually fully stocked. Been shopping here for years and will always choose it over the Walmart at the other end of the very small shopping mall. Prices may be higher, but the calm atmosphere is more than worth it.

I had a great shopping experience today. I like how they still have arrows on the floor. I like how they pack your groceries AND put them in the cart for you. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I prefer this Safeway over the westhills Safeway.

This is my go-to Safeway in the area. I find the establishment to be clean and well organized. The staff are always friendly and helpful as well. Really enjoyed their deli section and sandwich section. The meat guys are awesome as well

I have been shopping here for 20 years. I dislike shopping elsewhere. Everyone is always friendly. Always have what I need and I enjoy my time here. I appreciate greatly now more than ever how efficient and safety minded they are. I hope to shop here for 20 more years.

Easy to find, well stocked and organized. The gluten free section is easy to maneuver through.
