La Novita Bakery

This is a little thank you note to the lovely ladies at La Novita who made this gender reveal cake happen on really short notice (order was placed the day before). While all other bakeries turned down our request, these ladies took it on and did they deliver! As seen in the pictures, they absolutely nailed the brief. There was as much blue frosting as the cake inside which not only served the purpose but tasted amazing! Highly recommend their services!

Great bakery shop near the go Cooksville train station. Affordable and reasonable prices! My son and I loves tje bread we bought specially the diner rolls, americano coffee and croissant. Will surely comeback and recommended.

Nice little hidden gem of a bakery with a variety of different pastries, breads and other baked goods, along with a breakfast/brunch section for your different types of coffees and sandwiches. It was my first time coming here and despite being fairly busy I was serviced in a relatively short period of time. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions that I had (they do Wedding Cakes too by the way!), and their Sourdough bread has really good texture, taste and consistency. The Spinach Croissant was a tad bit pricey but the taste really does justify the price at $4.99 at the time of writing this review. Glad I stopped by here. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

Undoubtedly, one of my two favourite Portuguese bakeries in Mississauga. This bakery has been here for as long as I can remember, about 40 years or more.
The baked goods are always great and the bakery is clean and nice. Natas and croquettas are my favourite but I always get some different types of bread here too. Their almond croissants are amazing, especially with an espresso :)
It’s packed most of the time but moves pretty fast.
The service is always excellent.

We got our daughter’s birthday cake done from here, it was simply delicious! Every single guest had asked us where we got the cake from. Reasonably priced and very fresh. The cream was fresh and cake was very light. Highly recommend!

Came here first time today to buy some pastries for my coworkers, it was a hell busy morning and kitchen couldnt get the first batch of cannoli by 8am (i was early), however i was attracted by croissants and fruity Danish. The young store lady was kind and sweet enough to recommend the almond croissant which i felt so happy that i took her suggestion. It was so delicious and fresh!! Not overly sweetened and good match with a small espresso! definitely will visit this bakery store again!

My sandwich artist took a lot of time and made sure all the sauces were spread out recently across the bun, like a tv commercial haha. It was a bit expensive for just a sandwich but I still love coming here whenever I pass by.

Lovely little bakery, huge selection of breads and a nice selection of desserts. They also have some deli meats at a reasonable price, they also make sandwiches and have a little coffee seating area. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also make custom cakes.

Delicious pastries! Fresh bread, Nutella custard tarts, ham and cheese croissants, donuts, coffee. It was all so wonderful.

We ordered a customized birthday cake for our son's birthday. The entire process was seamless. The cake was extremely delicious ,well made and was ready for pickup on time. Definitely going back to get more cakes and pastries for sure. Thanks so much for making our boy's day special.

Ordered online on their website for cake delivery to my friend in Mississauga. Cake was delicious and it was delivered on time. My friend really enjoy the service and lovely message wrote on the cake. Everything was perfect. Excellent.

We bought their white chocolate strawberry cake for a birthday celebration and it was amazing. So fresh, moist, creamy and perfectly sweet.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDING this bakery for all of your cake needs. My family has been coming to this bakery for over 10 years and the cakes have never disappointed - even if there was something we didn't like the team would fix it or be flexible to our requests. We have ordered slab cakes, customer fondant cakes and most recently cupcakes with a baby cake. Sharon, Luis and the team did a FANTASTIC job...our guests were blown away and unlike other cupcakes that only look good, these tasted GREAT. Cake was moist and not extremely sweet (red velvet tends to be on the sweeter side). Cupcakes were packaged safely for transportation and everything was ready to go.
