My favorite place for authentic Caribbean items. The produce are always fresh as supplies come regularly. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to.

I have had Charlie's take away many items in the past when visiting Canada and the taste is unbelievably good.

The lady at the cash is always pleasant and helpful.
The grocery is a little small and hard to move around on busy days, but they sell quite a variety of Caribbean imports, especially ground provisions, fresh green seasonings, Caribbean snacks and some tropical fruits.
Price is not too bad compared to some other west Indian grocery stores.
I like the atmosphere at this location, makes you feel at home.
Sunday mid day is probably the best time to shop, less traffic, less crowded and lots of parking.

A staple in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Providing West Indian groceries for many years. I would love to see the store updated to accommodate the growth in population, and demands in modern times; when it's busy, it can be really cramped. There's a love for Charlie's that's unmatched due to its history, and the friendly, family based staff. When people immigrated from the West Indies, there weren't any stores providing the produce or products one is used to having back in their country, Charlie's answered the need, and is still doing so.

I haven't been up north since covid but I miss Charlie's so much!! All the worker's were so friendly and the fish is amazing. I'll be back this weekend from Buffalo

The store is small and gets crowded easily, but the staff is so nice and they sell just about everything I need that I can't get at the grocery store. I enjoy going there.

This review is primarily for Mark, you are doing an awesome job. I like his approach, very direct, friendly and efficient. We needed assistance with a few things and he was very helpful and continued to be of help to others entering and leaving the store. Excellent job man....keep it up.

Always and forever love the food, the wait time is fair and even when its busy its so worth it. The shrip roti and chicken roti are absolutely amazing aswell. I always go here and wil always go. 11/10

Ok so my mom went in I drove her there.

Got some xmas foods and meat to make.
We didn't go to Charlie's but went to the halal place beside it.there was no lone,line, was cold so my mom didn't want to wait in the Charlie's line. But I love Charlie's.

Charlies West Indian is a grocery as well as a restaurant during Covid we couldn't sit to eat but the best Roti is sold here while this place gets very crowded at times people wait in line to buy food, even vitamins like Ferrol very crowded but worth the wait

Honestly I was scared to go there because it is such a small store. Wondered how they would be able to social distance. There COVID health safety policies were in place and I felt safe. Limited the people in the store and everyone seemed to cooperate. Customers and staff made it a pleasant experience. Always well stocked I got everything I needed.

Nice Little store a bit tight to move around items are on the expensive side but we need to support each other no matter what. Great customer service love the staff that cancel out the price. I will return traveled from brampton to get my Caribbean items.

Charlie's is one of Mississauga's oldest established businesses; if not the oldest. The city grew up with this Caribbean food and amenities hub.You experience a transported version of the Tropics. All you need to prepare meals and daily needs can be found here. Be sure to visit. Even the customary cooking utensils are available. A friendy courteous atmosphere. Also very busy but efficient in services. Now family and employee additions to serve you faster.

Wow! Super friendly and helpful staff made this visit worth the 12km drive. Clean and amply stocked. Got what I wanted (trying out ryansweethand's frozen seasoning) and more.

Great West Indian Store with lots of stuff that reminds me of back home. Though their Red Snapper is a bit overpriced.

Great place for everything Caribbean. Just need a bigger store. Big up Charlie lol
