Sobeys Flamborough

I always go to Sobeys in Waterdown. Friendly staff. Today I was there buying things for dinner and was upset to hear that a customer was upset and had spoken rudly to the cashier that was serving me. She has always been proffesional and friendly with me and my family. I told her she is doing a great job. I hope that the customer thinks next time.

Checked around everywhere for rosemary. Went to a few stores and Sobeys was also sold out, but luckily Troy was able to help me get my hands on some. Some were used for display and he was super helpful in the process and was great customer service and i was able to walk out with the rosemary! Thanks a lot Troy!

This has to be the cleanest and best organized grocery store!
I was so amazed at how all product labels were facing the same way that I felt compelled to take a picture.

Leaving this review especially for the super accommodating nice lady that bakes cakes here (i wish i had asked her name)! I placed an order with very specific instructions on how I wanted it to look and she wonderfully nailed it within 24hours of notice! It not only looked lovely but equally tasted delicious. Little chocolate cheesecake bought at bakery last minute...should have cut it into 6 pieces but did 4. HOLY COW!!!! BEST CAKE EVER!

A big thank you to Julie in the bakery department. She made the most amazing strawberry shortcake for my nephew's big celebration when he got his PhD. The cake was beautifully decorated and the cake itself was delicious. She took such great care to make this cake special and went above and beyond by showing a genuine interest to hear how our special event turned out. Thank you Julie for the best cake ever, you are my "go to baker" for all my special occasions.

Always nice place to buy groceries, it's expensive but what is not these days.

Love the quality of meat & baked goods. Don't like the crazy store layout. It's hard to find what I'm looking for.

Good selection, good prices, a whole lot of gf items (very important for our family with two members having celiac disease). Staff always helpful & friendly & go the extra mile. LOVE the brown paper grocery bags. Kudos to Sobeys for taking steps in the right direction for the planet.

My husband loves shopping here! They have done a fantastic job with being prepared for COVID-19. Very clean store! However a bit pricey but to feel safe. Honestly I would rather spend the extra! Thank you Sobeys for keeping our Community safe!🤗

Really impressed with the service here! I ordered a strawberry shortcake for my mom's bday and the process was simple and stress-free. Employee Hannah was extremely helpful in taking my order and details of the cake and ensuring it was ready by a certain time on the pick up day. The cake was delicious and very fairly priced compared to Fortino's!

Great store. But the bakery guys. You're awesome. Always get special cakes made here and never disappointed. Always better than i hope for. Extra 5 stars for cake decorators.

Absolutely fantastic 👏 service and food was outstanding.

Place was clean and had many precautions for COVID. We needed a birthday cake and Hana provided the best service. We left with a really nice cake and custom text that she offered to write on it. I can't be happier with the service and will definitely be back. Many thanks.

Hands down the best customer service I've ever experienced in any grocery store. Special mention to Sheila and Troy who went above and beyond to make my errand running into a really great experience. They were so kind and so helpful and ! just can't say enough to thank them both.

Awesome Bakery section, was impressed with my daughters 1st birthday cake that was freshly made in 24hours. After talking with one of the bakery staff who helped answer all of my questions they made the most delicious strawberry shortcake. They customized the cake with pink chocolate shavings and pink colored sprinkles. They really went above and beyond in my opinion. Great customer service which means alot to me. I will definiltey be buying all of my custom cakes from this location.

Best grocery store in Waterdown! I love shopping here because the staff are all so friendly and helpful and all of their products are awesome. Their meat and cheese selection is wonderful and they have the best boiling hams on the planet, which go on sale every few weeks. This store has the country market feel to it, unlike any of the other grocery stores. I’m going to give a special shout out to Shelia, who cashed me out recently! Such a friendly and engaging woman! I always leave this store feeling very upbeat because of the excellent customer service!! Kudos to Sobey’s!!

Excellent staff and management, always there to help. Food selection is fine and somewhat comparable to other food chains for many items.
