Very professional, knowledgeable and dedicated staff. I felt very comfortable and well-looked after during my physio therapy appointments, for post surgery on my broken wrist. During the six weeks of physio, my therapist provided me with outstanding care to the details needed for my recovery.
I can safely resume (slowly) the physical activities that I enjoy doing ie. curling, golfing.

The booking process is easy - all done online. The receptionist is professional and pleasant. The initial assessment involved a conversation and some simple movements - the therapist was not rushed and was caring about my condition. My 1st 2 treatments have had great results and I look forward to more. :-)

Amber is very knowledgeable, professional and helpful... and she's just a lovely person! Her virtual appointments are the only reason I made it through the first 6 months of the pandemic (with 2 very young children at home alone with me, and chronic back issues) without re-injuring myself. I’ve never had to go to Physio before, so I didn’t know what to expect. Unfortunately, I was injured at work and WSIB approved physiotherapy. I called around and not too many places want to deal with WSIB. Luckily, when I called Waterdown Physiotherapy, Andrew told me they deal with WSIB. During my initial assessment, Hannah showed me around and I met Khizar who would be my primary physiotherapist. Khizar explained my injuries to me and took the time to answer my questions during the initial assessment. I see Amber, another fabulous Physiotherapist when my schedule doesn’t allow me to be there certain days. I’ve been going to Waterdown Physiotherapy for two months and I’m starting to see improvements. Before I started Physio, I had difficulty lifting a 2 pound dumbbell due to the extensive arm injuries. Khizar told me it’s important to do the exercises at home, and I’m currently able to lift a 4 pound dumbbell. It may not be much, but it’s a lot better than what I was able to do before. If you are looking for physiotherapist, I highly recommend Khizar, he will challenge you, advocate for you and keep you on the right track to recovery and healing. Everyone at Waterdown Physiotherapy is professional, compassionate, supportive, friendly and encouraging. I had never tried Physiotherapy before but after locking up my shoulder I began about 6 weeks of sessions with Khizar Hayyat at Waterdown Physiotherapy. Khizar always showed genuine care and concern for my condition, effective treatment at the Clinic and advice for home exercises. The Clinic is well laid out and the support staff (Andrew and Hanna) were always helpful and friendly. Happy to have "graduated" and back to movement without the pain. Well done.

I’ve been seeing Amber since June 2022. I began seeing her for the pain associated with my Labral hip tears. Amber has been very helpful in all aspects of my recovery, from the visits for physio to advice on the procedures I am having outside of her office. She has been instrumental to relieving my pain and giving me at home exercises to help with my pain between visits. I would recommend Amber to any one who asks about physio. Any other staff I’ve had to work with in the office are wonderful as well.

Overall it was a great experience. The treatment was very thorough and the physiotherapist and his supporting staff were pleasant and professional. The exercises that I was taught have set me up for success in helping to restore normal range of motion.

Ami has worked wonders for my seperated shoulder, after a few months I am feeling much stronger and only have a small amount of pain with one movement. I highly recommend Waterdown Physiotherapy.

I highly recommend Waterdown Physiotherapy and in particular Miriam Berry. Each time I have had an issue( and they have all been separate from ankles to car accidents to a current shoulder issue) She performance a detailed assessment and is truly curious. She’s like a compassionate detective! Then her treatment plan is practical, customized and time oriented. She just wants to get me well quickly. And whenever she has helped me with each issue the pain has NEVER returned. I just keep hurting different parts of me-not her fault!

I am going to Waterdown Physio, since last year. Now, I am seeing Maria Moeen for my muscle tear issue , I am feeling much better and improving the range. Maria is very knowledgeable, caring and prescribed the best treatment. Maria never rushes , she cares, and listens . Thank you .
