Hanan Sokar-Todd MD

Dr Sokar-Todd has been my doctor for 10 years now and I am fortunate to have found a doctor like her. She is extremely thorough, will address any issue you come with and will not minimize or brush off symptoms. She is also kind and cares about her patients. She will not make you drive into the office for simple things like reviewing test results but is more than willing to see you in person if necessary. She is the only doctor I know who focuses on preventative medicine, which I appreciate so much. She will schedule appointments quickly and I never have to wait in the waiting room when I come to see her. She is always on time for phone appointments and respects your time. No other doctor compares to her!

She is a gem. It is so rare these days to find such a knowledgeable and caring doctor. I am absolutely grateful to have Dr. Sokar-Todd as my family physician.

Not empathetic at all. Made me feel really terrible. After telling her my only concern from visit # 1 she said that she needs to address it on the 4th appt because of the 'one issue per visit rule' that she has (trust me she definitely takes this rule to a whole new level). She said she needed more information about my health before she could refer me but I feel like it could have all been done in 2 visits not 4. She also stated that I can get the appts done soon, but I'm working and can't come in that frequently just so that she can get the most appts out of me and benefit herself. Her office is also only open late nights once a week. So she's really not taking my concern seriously.

She really doesn't care at all, and at first I really liked how straight forward she was but I also need a compassionate, caring, nice person that will treat me like a person not a pay check.

My wife had a concern that needed to be addressed promptly. And just because of her pre-determined policy and procedures, she deferred her treatment plan to the 4th visit so she can benefit financially from billing the government for as many visits as she could. Her financial greed comes first before anything else to consider. She's completely lacking empathy in her demeanour. I will definitely report her billing conduct to the college. As a healthcare professional, I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

Not actually accepting new patients! Also does not take patients that do not reside in Burlington but work 5 mins from the office.

I’m baffled how someone with so much education still harbours an incredible amount of ignorance in how to speak to people. Just the most basic of manners! She absolutely picked the wrong profession. I think she should have chosen a career where she has no interaction with the public because she has zero social skills! Condescending, disrespectful and rude! The last thing patients need to encounter when dealing with health issues. If you take the time to read her negative reviews, you’ll see a common theme…her rotten attitude.
