I have moved multiple times with this company and each time has been an amazing experience! The staff are very friendly, helpful, and always go the extra mile. I would recommend this company to anyone moving around the city or across the country. 10/10

We've moved many times within Canada and are experienced dealing with moving companies. Without question East Coast Movers is one of the best companies we've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They came to our rescue with our most recent move (due to a disconnected number with our booked mover). They showed up when promised, were professional, efficient, polite and knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Used this company when I moved last year. They were professional, showed up exactly when expected, were quick, took extra steps to make sure furniture and walls were protected they even took the extra time to put pieces together and remove an extra couch that wouldn't fit in the apartment. With another move coming this summer, called the owner who had lots of great advice about preparing for the move as well as what to expect if we decide to hire the company again. Very happy with the service!

We are an Ontario based Company that hired East Coast to support a project for one of our Customers in Saint John. Service and communication exceeded expectations. Even when the project went slightly off the rails (Our end) East Coast stood tall and simply got the job done. Very professional and always a "CAN DO" attitude....we would not hesitate to work with them again and offer our highest recommendation.

Due to the recent flooding from this past rain fall, we hired East Coast Moving at the last minute to move our stuff out of the basement into storage until the repairs are completed. The team was amazing, and thank you for acting so quickly.

Great experience. Movers treated my belongings carefully and they arrived on time which I appreciated. Would use again.

First the positives: The guys were fast and efficient. They wrapped our furniture very well.
The negatives: They broke 4 items (ceramic plant pot); a brand new trolley; a souvenir cup of my parents 50th anniversary (handle was broken off) ; a plastic set of 4 drawyers for storage (also new); they lost my 10-speed bike. Tried to explain by saying they told someone to go into warehouse for something and the person took our bike out of the truck instead? Makes no sense to me. I definitely want that returned. We were told someone will back to us about what happened to it. Deb/Gerry Cote.

We used East Coast Movers for our last move in September. They showed up over an hour late. The lead mover YELLED at me that our new apartment was a “hell hole”, because the parking was difficult. He later made a sexual comment to a family friend, told us to use a different mover next time and then capped off the day with a racist joke.
When we shared this with the company we received a full refund, which was appreciated. We were also assured that the employee in question would be dealt with and that no one else would have this experience.

This company and its leadership can not be trusted. They will rip you off and they will add costs upon costs after quote. My experience included over $2500 in additional charges after quote. One charge was because I asked for earlier pickup which I can see might be an additional cost but they never showed me what I was paying for, and they also didn't move my stuff for 7 days after the original date. So, it was just gauging. I only asked for 3 days early then it sat for 10.

Second, their driver refused to drive to my house after coming within 500 meters of my front door. This choice by their driver cost me an additional $1300. The drivers reason was that he was in a rental truck and it didn't have good chains and the road which is a loop was too tight. Every local driver including the dispatch of the local allied office said there should be no issue. But I was charged more.

Also, every time I tried to talk to them on this they were rude. Told me I didn't understand moving and that I had to pay or they would hold the contents of my house hostage. The driver actually refused to open the truck until I handed them more than $20k.

Anyway. One star, don't trust them. They hate their customers and they are bad people.
