You get what you pay for, I find the staff nice and enough space and equipment to get my workout in!

5 stars if you are not looking for a gym with fitness classes or personal trainer. Definitely a well equipped gym with almost all the necessary work out equipment and weights, plus perks with black card membership like massage chairs, tanning room, 1/2 price cooler drinks etc. The price for membership can not be beaten; $5.99 every two weeks for regular membership with one location access and $11.99 every two weeks for black card membership with access to all locations plus the above perks. Free underground parking is a plus. The only issue I see, is the tight space, the gym easily gets congested.

Really good gym in a great location with friendly staff and cool folks working out. You can shop, work out, and dine, without leaving the building.

Mostly clean and the atmosphere is great! People who goes to this location are mostly regulars and very serious about their trainings. If you are committed to a good motivational gym this is it!

Cleaning staff do an excellent job.

The machine repair is slow and machines are frequently unusable.

Well worth the price even if a little annoying at times.

Update: Two years after originally posting this review machines now rarely go more than a couple days before getting fixed. I have only witnessed two broken machines in the last two months and I go ~6 times a week.

Pros: cheap, clean, not terribly busy, full of beautiful people for inspiration, not too loud, full featured, open convenient hours, located centrally, air conditioned, friendly enough staff, flexible memberships including sharing with family & friends.

Cons: few change rooms, few showers, no towel service,

On balance, best gym membership I've had.

If you can get your timing right this is a fantastic gym. At peak times it's packed like any other gym, but it's limited space and equipment hold it back moreso than bigger gyms at peak hours. However I like to go early in the morning, and it's not unheard of for me to have almost the entire place to myself, which is awesome and not the case for the Park Lane goodlife, even at opening time. Keep in mind it's not great for serious lifting, but has enough to satisfy most people I think.

I love fit4less because it is open 24/7 so I go wee hours in the early morning and do my workout with no holdups.Daytime some people are on there phones holding up equipment when others are there to train.Very disrespectful my opinion. 😡

Hands down the cheapest gym in Halifax. Some of the equipment does have a bit of a cheap feel to it but it's all new so that's nice. Highly recommended this place

It is exactly what it is fit for less showers are available when staff are on sight in this 24 hour gym that do to its downtown halifax location is a very busy spot and sometimes hard to get on some of the machines

Great place to exercise! Staff are polite, machines are always available. The odd one breaks down but there are plenty of more to use.

Best bang for your buck gym in the city. Highly recommend for anyone from beginners to experienced lifters!

Love this gym. They have 3 of each machine. No need to wait for a line up. The machines are almost new.

Smaller gym, but they do well with the space they have. Customer service is fantastic.

Great value for the cost. Clean with a decent selection of equipment. Definitely one of their smaller locations

24 hours makes it perfect for me to go after work or before. Friendly staff and great equipment. Price is right too!
