Got the cauliflower soup, oysters & charcuterie board for appetizers. Cauliflower soup was THE best one I’ve had in my entire life! Oysters were light and delicious, tasted fresh. Charcuterie was great as well, portion was quite big!

Ordered the pickerel for the main course and it was such a well made meal. The sauces, lightly crisped potatoes, along with the soft pickerel just falls apart in your mouth. Absolutely beautiful presentation as well.

Ordered the Mike Wazowski cocktail (tanqueray Gin, Yellow Chartreuse, Midori, Simple Syrup & Lime), was slightly sweet and tarte, also a nice looking drink for your aesthetics.

Service was great, was busy on a Saturday evening but our waiter was very attentive and did not have to wait long for any service at any point during our meal.

This place has been around for a while and I've visited several times. The food is generally good. I don't like the Berkshire pork, but the rest of the menu is pretty good. Especially the half chicken entree. They used to have this deconstructed cheesecake dessert that was to die for but they don't seem to offer that anymore. Wish they would bring it back! Also, they have a nice small patio outside in the warmer months.

This restaurant was recommended by some friends and I am glad we went. Our server, Victoria, was very friendly and hospitable. The menu is creative and inspired... You cannot go wrong with any of the selections. The restaurant strives to be farm-to-table and was a delight. Well worth the money.

Very delicious food! I had the steak frites which was very tasty and my mother had a shrimp dish (said the sauce was super heavy and took over the dish). The calamari was great.
Cocktails are great, but I wish there was a little bit more variety.
Great spot and super cozy atmosphere.

First time eating here and I am definitely returning. The rustic environment, friendly staff, delicious food and drinks and ambience were all very welcoming. There is something for everyone on the menu.

Brought my mom and girlfriend here, it was our first time and we had a P(L)easant night.

The one dollar oyster on Wednesday was such a good deal! And it tasted really good, the sauce they had complemented the oysters well!

The vibe was great! The service was amazing and friendly! Would definitely go back here atleast once or twice a month for the oysters!

Day 12 of my pre birthday celebrations and in pursuit of discovering the new (possible) home city’s food. Today has been the best meal we’ve had so far.

This restaurant is in the historic Exchange District of YWG and housed in one of the many turn-of-the-century beautifully preserved masonry structures in one of Canada’s designated historic sites.

The mode was casual and the ambiance had this quirky old world charm.

Service was outstanding! 10/10!

We ordered:
Starters:
*CHICKEN LIVERS. $19
Pan-fried with brandy peppercorn sauce, baguette toast. I hate liver but I loved the rich flavours of the sauce. WOWZA and YUMZA! The president said the livers had this amazing flavour profile and had beautiful texture. He finished the entire dish. 10/10!
* PORK DRY RIBS. $16
Baby back ribs braised then fried until crisp, with chili and lime. The ribs was soft but not fall-off-the-bone so they were just perfect. The caramelized crust added more flavours and texture to these delectable bites. WOWZA and YUMZA! 10/10!
Mains:
*HOUSE SAUSAGE MEATBALL PAPPARDELLE. $28
Smoked tomato and pepper cream sauce, garlic, onions, arugula and chêvre cheese. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was a real winner. The meatballs were just ok. 8/10!
*PORK CHOP. $36
Roasted root vegetables, green beans, pickled apples and grainy mustard jus. The chop was pure perfection. So tender, juicy and just packed with incredible flavours. The mustard jus elevated the sensational texture and flavours to another level. WOWZA and YUMZA 20/10!!! 🔥😍😋😱💕

A remarkable culinary experience for sure.

Wonderful experience. Our server Ashley was friendly and professional. The French Onion soup was the best I have ever tasted. My main dish was the Steak Frites. The steak was cooked sous vide and was a perfect medium pinkness and so tender I cut it with my butter knife. The fries were exactly what homemade fries should be and the gravy complimented both perfectly. My husband had the Peasant Pie which was made with beef and bison and fresh veggies. I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful it tasted. Was pricey but well worth it for a special night out. Will absolutely be returning in the future.

Had a great experience there, first time having a cheese charcuterie board, 10/10 love the flavours and selection given to us (we told them to surprise us). Fringe festival was going on on the other street, the atmosphere was amazing !

My favourite restaurant in Winnipeg. it’s a chic place with fun decorations. The wait staff works tirelessly to provide you with a pleasant polite experience. The food is PHENOMENAL and doesn’t take long at all to receive once ordered. The homemade bread is to die for.
A great selection of appys.
Make sure you call ahead for a reservation so you’re not disappointed!

The customer service and food was perfect! I went there with a friend and we were hesitant to try the menu at first.

The bartender was very nice and gave us some suggestions. We were still hesitant to try it, the bartender suggested different restaurants close by we could go try (I never expect that, lol, I though we would be kicked out at that time).

We decided to stay and we ordered two appetizers (Calamari and Ribs) and two mains (Burger and Steak). It panned out great. For the mains, I would suggest you ask for sauces to be put on the side (if you are a very PICKY EATER like I am). I had to get mine remade because I didn’t like the sauce/gravy (they were still super nice about it).

Thank you again for the great service and food!!!

We ate Charcuterie, Oysters, Aged Cheddar Gnocchi, Rabbit Mushroom Pasta and Bison Meatloaf.
The charcuterie meat and pickle platter was diverse and flavorful. Great selection of homemade meats with wonderful variety of spices. Amazing pickled esparagus.
First time trying oysters. Let's just say, I will be back for their buck a shuck night!
Homemade gnocchi was soft and the sun-dried tomatoes and spinach sauce was delicious! Perfect lighter fare.
Rabbit mushroom pasta. So many different flavors that all worked so well together. Tender and tasty rabbit.
Bison meatloaf. Amazing flavors, hearty helping, overall great dish.
Total bill $120$ with a beer and 2 Pepsi's. Totally worth it, given that we ordered 2 starters and 3 entrees. Can't wait to go back!!

Loved it. Came for my birthday.

I had a zero proof Sam Ross (also known as The Penicillin) which was amazing.

They served some nice breads, with whipped butter.

We had the escargot vol au vent to start. The escargot itself was rubbery. The hilight of the dish were the roast cherry tomatoes, in the sauce. I think that should be the focus of this dish.

We had Gnocchi and the special, which was their take on Sheppard's pie. The Gnocchi melts in your mouth. It's amazing. Absolutely get it.

The Sheppard's pie was good; it was served in a hot cast iron skillet, with mashed potatoes. The meat was a combination of beef and bison. It had nice flavours. Unfortunately the presentation of the potatoes reminded me of something not so appetizing.

Service was great. It was quite loud in the restaurant, but the ambiance was nice.

We come here often for buck a shuck on Wednesday night! Sometimes for dinner but usually late night after kids activities. Great spot to unwind and have a few drinks and snacks! We had oysters, a cheese plate (which they always have an amazing selection) desserts and drinks. My husband always try’s all the beer they have on selection and I always get a glass of red which is reasonably priced at $14 for a 9oz and heavy pour at times! Great friendly service and food comes out fast. Ambiance is dimmed and great spot for conversations and good times!
Make sure to make a reservation for Wednesday’s as its always packed.

Atmosphere is quiet and cozy, service and food were great. Home comfort food is definitely the best way to describe it. It was a toss up between the lamb pie or the rabbit ragout... I ended up having the lamb pie and it was very comforting and delicious.
