This place is really really nice.

Everytime I get groceries, Atleast one person is apprehended for stealing. That being said, the staff is still insanely kind to me all the time, and it’s just a great experience all around. I always feel safe in the store and everyone is super kind to everyone.

Its a really nice & safe place to get groceries downtown.

I’ve never once felt any sort of threat while shopping. The security guard actually usually helps me and takes my cart for me.

It’s just a really nice place and the workers there seem to be really really kind people

This store has gotten so much better in the staffing, they are polite. Seems like the store has a grip on the ppl that aren't shopping. I like that . The prices are AMAZING.

This store is the same no matter where you live in Canada. Large selection of food and non food items at affordable prices.
Security guard at the front of the store which is not what I am used to. Probably because of the sketchy street people wandering the downtown streets.
Easy to get to (by foot) since I was staying in the area.

good place to take a walk, listen to the sound of the water. and there is also delicious ice cream in the cafe next door

This place has all the staples for a considerably reduced price. Great staff that are commited to doing their jobs, maybe not so much into conversation but truly focused.

Good place for shopping! I always get trousers, t-shirt handy there. Some vegetables too. I always have seen items are on sale specially clothes. Staffs are friendly and not that crowded place after the pandemic started.

The milk is apparently really good. I saw a man sitting outside the store in the pouring rain and dumping it over his face. It was just that amazing he couldnt wait to get home to a dry location and drink it from a glass.

If all the mega Wal-Mart's were replaced with Giant Tigers Canadians injured by Tiger maulings would surpass India's Grrr-rates. Also we'd probably have to clone more gianter predators to naturally control the la tigre Grande populations. This place should also have a loyalty program for obsessive fans and customers who have no other option but to spend $100+ on a 24 case of discount bottled drinking water at the Northern store on reservations where boiling your drinking water is practiced as much as racism is in this city.

Super happy to help they go above and beyond for every customer who enters their door. Easy fun layout doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where things are and if you can't find it a sales associate or the manager will be happy to help.

low prices, friendly staff. I accidentally forgot my debit card and it was no problem. went home and got it and there was no fuss! I just wish there were larger bags of their chocolate covered peanuts. they have large bags of chocolate covered raisins, and almonds, but only small bags of peanuts.

Giant Tiger is a great!!!! place to shop in a hurry or if you are not so busy.
I used to shop here all the time but then I just started to go to different places to shop around and get the best deals on produce,meats and other items but if you like the feel of a small store where over time you will know most people who shop there as well as work there then this is the place you want to go to.

Fruits and vegetables are VERY,VERY reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with the prices of curtains $10 i always buy the bargain one for $6. I change my curtains per season. So the prices are good.

Came here regularly for about a week and never had a problem, plus some positive experiences with their helpful staff- if I lived around here, I definitely wouldn't hesitate to come back
