Live music, great food, lovely service. A terrific evening.
The music drew us to the place, a week before we dined there. Some excellent classical guitar!

Haven't had good paella for a long time, but this place took us back to Barcelona. A socarrat that you just don't see very often outside of Spain. Delicious.

We had some nice appy's, shrimps, olives, dates -all good while we waited for our Paella. The Chicken/Seafood Paella was the star of the evening. Yum. And huge.

Our servers were charming, informed, friendly, and undeniably Spanish. They were also working really hard to keep up, maybe they need a couple of co-workers on busy nights.

But patience is rewarded here, why rush through a beautiful night on Las Ramblas? Same thing here.

Got the shrimp garlic, wish it was more shrimp but so yummy. We got the Garlic bread, Paella, Veggie soup, bottle of white wine, 2 Spanish coffee liquor and potatoes with sauce it was delicious and cost 130$. Aside from the food the service was beyond great. Very nice owner and the young lady that served us was amazing. Worth it.

On a whim, we decided to walk in to try their paella. We were seated quickly, the servers were nice, and the food was amazing. It takes 45 minutes for the paella, which they instantly mentioned, but the wait is definitely worth it. Good food can't be rushed. 🤌 Also, being in the patio with a live band playing felt relaxing, and overall, this place had good vibes.

Homey atmosphere with pretty good food. Friendly good service. The paella is pretty good. So is the bravas and the chorizo skewers. Calamari was done well. Good dinner spot.

Really delicious food. We go to Spain and love it and this Spanish Food provider in Calgary is really legit. Food was delicious, service nice and a fun patio out front. Portions are small, need more Octopus for the cost associated but it is delicious. Also please give me more than 4 little churros for $10, they are delicious but portions need to be bigger.

Jalapeño cocktail really nice as well.

A really nice place! The mixed paella was delicious! And since I came to Canada, I've been trying to find morcillas, and finally I found it here. The Latin music was a nice touch. Recommended!

Went there for a bite after going to the Stampede. Good food, sweet drinks & there was even a musician/singer playing some spanish songs. I really enjoyed the whole experience & definitely recommend it. EZ 5 stars.

Great food and ambiance. Live acoustic performances playing Spanish music. We had a reservation for just over 20 people and they created a multiple course menue with various different dishes. Great evening

Went there on a Friday for lunch.
Food was amazing and we tried quite a few items: appetizers, soup, paella, desert, cocktails.
Everything delicious and portions were very generous.
I certainly recommend everyone trying this place!

This is what I wish we had in BC. Authentic, incredible food (especially seafood) beautiful ambiance, excellent wine 🍷 they do everything right. This is the real Spanish experience.

Had a delightful and authentic Spanish dinner
We tried the Pulpo, which was super buttery and tender. You can’t miss the home made Chorizo - it’s too die for! For the main we had the Mixed Paella which was enough to feed 4 people. We loved the flavor of the rice and there was a great variety of seafood!

Def coming back to try more of the menu and the dessert!!

I really enjoyed the food, it was just what I needed and wanted. I ordered their Seafood Paella to go and plated it at home. The Paella is enough for three with an appetizer and has plenty of seafood. I'll return to dine at the restaurant in the future. They had live music which was very enjoyable while waiting, and I highly recommend Las Canarias as a destination for dining out and takeout.

We got 3 paellas to share: 1) Fish and seafood; 2) Chicken and chorizo; 3) Black rice paella with calamari and prawns.

Each of the paellas were done extremely well. The rice in each of them was firm yet soft and infused with the flavors that you know you are eating a seafood rice. You get a good amount of fixins as well so overall, there is a good ratio of meat to rice. The seafood based ones were the most impressive and should be a must try!

The portions are quite generous and if you are just two people, there is a good chance that you will have leftovers! Looking forward to trying some of their other paellas!

Excellent Paella. Got to try them all. Genuine Spanish food and the place itself has a Spanish vibe. Service is efficient and friendly. Best Paella in town and arguably in the all Western Canada

Relaxing atmosphere. Staff very polite, friendly and Spanish! Tacos and gambas were top notch. Dessert was delightful!!! Would return everyday if it was socially acceptable to eat like a king for the normal man! Highly recommend by expat Spaniard living in Oslo and visiting Calgary. Get eating before they raise prices, this was way to affordable! Live guitar player recycling Spanish greatest hits. He was real good, but my beautiful girlfriend thought it was to much, and we got a romantic table inside without the live music.

Ok, so this is an authentic Spanish restaurant, both the staff on duty today were real Spaniards. The food was amazing, very much like I recall when I lived in Spain. So recommended.

We love this restaurant. For Appetizers we ordered Calamari and Shrimp they were very good and we had the seafood paella and the black rice paella both were delicious however we like more the black as was our first time trying it.
We love the live music.
The service is excellent and very friendly.

It was a nice experience and loved the food!!! Will go back for their chorizo with cider sauce or something!
