Unfair contract term for cancelling a contract . digitally signature to begin the agreement. Yet, ALSCO requires that to end the agreement, you must follow a lengthy process involving writing a letter, mailing it by registered mail, and doing so 90 days before the contract's expiration date. 30 days before our contract expired we asked them to cancel, instead they automatically renew our contract , stating that “Although Alsco appreciates the intent behind your “notice” to discontinue service, the agreement itself does not end until both parties have come to an agreement regarding termination”. We use this company for our store carpets. The contracted amount was supposed to be $35.00 per week, instead, there was a gradual increased to $51.79.

Is there a negative 5 stars option? Alsco's billing practices and customer service are a nightmare. We've resorted to all communications in writing because what they say over the phone, is not what you get.

The conversations I had with their rep about the service sounded great, but the reality is a disappointment. They're contracts are deliberately vague. We thought we were signing up for usage based invoicing, but they have been billing us based on inventory.

It took months to finally figure out the invoicing compared to what we were actually receiving. For the first three months we were being billed 3x what we were actually receiving. Now we're being billed a little more than double and are fighting to get our money back while we look for a new service provider and consider litigation.
