I have had Durham Electric complete several electrical jobs in the past 10 years - getting my kitchen outlets up to code when I upgraded my cabinets (including power box to replace fuses); LED ceiling lights in my kitchen, living room and front hallway; installing new circuits in my basement to accommodate 16 outlets for my seeding area; installing circuits for my 2 lift chairs: installing under cabinet lighting in kitchen and most recently adding a second LED light in my kitchen which involved boring holes in the bulk head. Today I had my handyman start plastering the circles in the bulk head and he remarked that the electrician must be good because "usually they just cut out the drywall and leave the holes in the wall" - my electrician put wood behind the drywall and screwed the circles of drywall to the wood making it easier to finish.

Always pleased with the work - it is fabulous that my electrician is such a professional tradesman. Durham Electric is excellent in every way.

I recently purchased a house in Bowmanville that ended up having electrical issues. DEC was quick to dispatch an expert electrician to my home at the time I requested. The electrician (Greg) was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to resolve all my electrical issues in a few hours - fantastic service - will 100% recommend and use again.

I called to install a light fixture and to check my beaker box. He (Greg) was very thorough in searching and fixing the problem. E. Vaillancourt recommend this company due to having a great reputation for good work. Price was great. He was friendly , on time and determined to fix the problem. I will definitely use their services again.

The BEST electrical company in the GTA!!!

I have used Durham Electrical two times in the past and was impressed with their work. I recommended them to my friend and am sorry I did. They gave her an estimate and then could only complete half the work...promising to get back to her about the other half of the work and never did. I wont recommend them again as now I look bad.

I was not impressed that they cancelled through voice mail for my consult 15min prior to 2 pm...after telling when I booked that they couldn't give me an exact time only a window between 2 - 4pm, I took the time off work...lost wages. To top it off, in the message they said they weren't able to make it for 5 days later!!
Obviously I won't be rescheduling!

What a waste of time . Waited 2 weeks just to get an estimate. Finally called them and told them I'm not interested in doing business with someone like this. Busy or not , communication is just a phone call away.
