Sobeys Whitby

I walked in Sunday at 6pm before the family day Monday holiday. The butcher shop was pretty much packed up. I needed beef shank to make Ossobuco for the next day. To my surprise, Rob, the butcher at this location offered to open shop and cut what I needed. Now, that’s one way of bringing the old school butcher shop feeling to a chain store. Thanks Rob for saving my plans for family day.

Floral department at this store is amazing. Especially Annetta she went above and beyond and provided me the best service any florist has every provided me. Thank you Annetta!! I will be coming back

Needed to get some flowers as a gift. Came in 5 minutes before the floral department was going to close. Annetta informed me that she was about to close the department but if I picked something real quick she could arrange them together and wrap them up for me. She went above and beyond especially extending her shift to get it done. She was absolutely wonderful and will definitely be coming back! Thank you Annetta!!!

This is the kind of supermarket not so far from my house and the Whitby Cormack Station apartment I get my groceries using my grocery carrier like wagon as an option. This is something everyone my try if they do not have a car.

The staff in the flowers section are always amazing and wonderful. Annetta especially is always so kind and caring and does an amazing job! This store is not the closest Sobeys to my house but I come here specially for these amazing employees.

Great store, staff and stocking habits!! Unlike value village they DO offer change rooms and will refund returns to a store gift card. Better yet they are open m-f 9 to 9. Love it, but their bananas need a bit of work!!@ NOTE....banana issue fixed..they're now excellent!!@

Very pleased there was an electrical scooter for people with mobility issues. The store was very clean with wide isles and a large selection of groceries. Personnel were pleasent and helpful. Will be shopping at this Dundas street store in the future.

My favorite Sobeys, fast service and 24 hours makes this a convenient and excellent grocery shopping experience.

Good range of products although could do with more diverse items. The reason I love this store is the staff are always super helpful. I've never had a bad staff interaction here.

Went today to pick up some wings and baby vitamin d. Store was clean and organized. Picked up everything quickly and went to self check out and had an issue. The cashier there working self checkout today was super sweet and kind. Her customer service alone made me want to go back even though I dont live that close. Wished all customer service people were like this :)

First thing I want to say is our cashier was great. Her operator number was 135. She was friendly and courteous. Our groceries were packed perfectly. The store is very clean and well stocked. We like to shop here as the produce is great and the meat department is nice too. Sale items were in stock as well. Thank you to our cashier.

Selection is great, prices a bit more expensive than the Superstore, but you get excellent quality. I find the bagged salad selection is much more fresher than other stores. Always clean and bright, and you also collect Air Miles 😁
Update December 18 - no more Air Miles!!! But you can collect points using your Scene card.
