Amanda's NOFRILLS Fort St John

There's no Real Canadian Superstore in FSJ, just No Frills or Wholesale club for Loblaws. However, that being said, I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of produce here. Usually this is the spot to go for nonperishable groceries and Save On or Safeway, which would have far superior produce quality, seems to be a pattern in other communities. However, here in FSJ, No Frills could be a one stop shop.

I appreciate the price label breaks down $ per mL or gram, helps give you a sense best product for the money, I got no name rice crackers for $1, sweet. They sell vitamins, have a staffed pharmacy. They sell a nice presliced sourdough loaf here too, not the fresh bakery kind, but great for sandwiches still.

Preload your PC optimum offers ahead of time to get points, every 1000 points is worth a dollar. Lots of self serve check outs. Remember your own bags because they don't have free plastic bags here, it's No Frills afterall. 😉

The store is pretty good but this review is for the pharmacy. The pharmacist, Gordon, is 10/10. The guy knows his stuff, is evidence based, and he’s quite possibly the jolliest guy in town. Best pharmacist to date!

I don't know whether to give this place one or five stars.

I feel like this No Frills has completely missed the memo. This No Frills has almost every frill you could think of. You can nearly see your reflection in the polished, dappled stone floors. Pallets have been sanded and finished and artistically placed above the cold produce shelves. The lighting makes you think quite starkly of Safeway. There are Self Checkouts (frill). There is a Pharmacy (extreme frill).

This is not No Frills. This is Yes Frills.

I find that this place is very polite and people that shop here respect social distancing and mask use. There's option for self checkout, which is quick. Cashier's are friendly and clean after each customer. Good and consistent prices

Store is clean good prices and friendly cashiers helpful staff didn't have to waite in line long they look miserable first thing in the morning alot of gossip

Usually has lots of stock. Some meats are in discount. Would love to see more options in other delicacies and asian selection but overall a one stop store.

The store saved our Christmas dinner. Was visiting my grandchildren on Saturday, we live in Prince George , my other son and wife looked all over Prince George for a turkey. The stores were out of turkey's. Not sure if they got more. But no frills had a lot of turkeys. Thank you. It was my first time being in a no frills store.

Well stocked and neat. Store clean and free from clutter, vegetables are much better quality that Safeway. Good selection of Indian food if you like that sort of thing. My only complaint and it goes right through the chain is the meat department is lacking. Not to say here aren't good deals but there is not much in the cooler most of the time. I will definitely be back for groceries again.

Great selection of your basic staples. Huge variety of international food at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they usually have enough cashiers so checkout doesn't take very long.

Great grocery store. They don't have as large a selection as Safeway or Save-On. But that said they have pretty much everything and the prices are always good. Excellent veggie section. The pharmacy is very good. Quick and the pharmacist is always ready to answer questions or help with a selection. They carry PC and No Name products. Usually busy, but they open checkouts accordingly.

Always clean. Helpful staff. Excellent prices and phenomenal sales.

Staff has always been helpful and friendly

I was very happy to find No frills in FSJ as I normally look for some products from president's choice. I was amazed to find a good selection of Halal meat,chicken and other stuff that I didn't expect to find them in here. The fresh produce and groceries were all fresh and the shelves were fairly stocked specially that I visited before they are closed by 1 hour on canada day

My experience was Excellent Friendly Customer service. I found that they accept PC points. I brought some can tuna and sardines in spring water. Also I got organic bananas and limes. I would recommend this store in Fort St John B.C.

Best prices in town!

This store is clean and well kept. They have impressive produce and extremely nice people working for them. Highly recommend this grocery store while in Fort St. John.
