SOTO Teppanyaki and Fusion Sushi

We have been customers of Soto for years and it has always been consistently great! It’s my daughter’s favorite restaurant. Whether we go for a lunch date or get takeout the food and service is always top notch. Always accommodating and friendly service. They remember us and if my daughter isn’t with me they ask about her, which is so sweet :)

Great food. Always wonderful. Only thing don't like is the loud ringing of the phone.

I came here the other night with my fiancé for a date night to do the tepan part where they cook food in front of you and it was amazing! The cook was so much fun and the food was delicious.

Mackerel, Tuna Belly and Unagi was amazing, had din dins there 2 x this month already 😋 Great food and the service was very good, super polite and generous portions throughout appetizers to the mains. Try the Miso soup to start, with salmon ponzu, sashimi. All in all, great joint for a Friday or Saturday night w / friends especially. Price point is a little high, but sushi is top dollar right now with Mitsubishi transitioning to new management team.

Have been going there or ordering in every two weeks since discovering the place. Their house salad is amazing, I cannot get enough of that. And it is the best choice to calm the angry wife when she is hangry lol. The service has always been great and the food is never a disappointment.

Food was great. Great and amazing chef. Too funny but in a good way. He made our evening interactive. That is when you try their Teppanyaki (grilled). He makes sure you have a taste of a small piece of broccoli to start off with.

I've been here 3 times and have been pretty happy each time. The service is good but the food is great. Definitively one of the best Japanese places in Grande Prairie. The decor is a little swanky and that would throw some people off but it's definitely a good restaurant.

A great place to have a social meal. Went with friends and had a great time with really good quality food. One of my friends played a joke on me and told them that it was my birthday, so I had to put up with the entire restaurant singing Happy Birthday to me 4 months after the actual date, but I got to make a onion volcano because of it! I would go back again for sure.

This is our go to place to get take out! It's quick, delicious, and a ton of options! Service has always been great. There are two sides of the restaurant to choose from. One is an interactive side where the chef makes the food on a grill in front of you, and other side is basic restaurant style.

A lot of what looks to be Americanized-Chinese and Japanese fusion, coupled with contemporary Japanese classics. Given our geography, still had excellent sushi, sashimi, and the like.

Great selection, great taste, comfortable environment. Everytime I visit GP, my mom and I go.
