After what was a poopie day for me, I did not have enough to buy the stuff I need for my kids bday dinner today. A WONDERFUL kind amazing employee came out when I was leaving, and brought/bought me the rest of my stuff. PLEASE give her the credit she deserves for her exceptional customer service and humanity. For people like me these things mean way more than others can imagine. So thank you lady!!!

The store is well kept, shelves stocked, produce is good. I can't say enough good.

The greeter is always smiling and friendly. When I walk in the store, its always so pretty and appealing to the eye to make me want to buy some fresh produce!! The staff are always courteous and polite! The bakery staff always go above and beyond! I bought a strawberry pie and without asking they offered to pile on some whip cream for me! Lol Excellent!!

Pricing can feel average to above average. Sale prices can feel like regular prices at time. Store is well managed by a variety of staff, all within presentation range with minimal enclosed rooms/areas. This creates a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Great, lush variety in stock, from meats, seafood, bakery, produce, and dairy. Large bulk section, too.

My favorite place to shop for groceries. Most people say it's expensive but if you follow the point system and go on the first Tuesday if each month its not overly expensive I found Safeway more expensive than save on foods. I also appreciate there fruit and veggies they always seem fresh and healthy looking. They have a good selection of healthy gluten free foods but I wish they carried more. They build ins always clean and employees are always working and ping their job and not standing around chatting like I have seen in other stores. They have always been on top of the cleanliness of the building even before covid started. They recently just reorganized the store and even though its a bit confusing I like the set up. I do wish that they would get back the gluten free brownie mix that is called cloud 9 that I can not find any where else it was the best.

Clean and well stocked. Friendly staff always willing to help you find items. Always carts and baskets at front of store available - kids carts if you go at not busy times.
Also have little stuffies like Hippo for sale in the flower department (no more hippos but maybe they will bring them back!)
Lots of cheese selections from all over and many Alberta made products on their shelves.

Bought a few watermelons from here that when i got home I found out were not edible. Called customer service and they returned my money no questions asked. I then asked if they knew if they had any that would be different because I still wanted watermelon... A truck had just came in and she brought me 3 right off of the truck. Very good service, and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

I atually got a personal shopper here once. She just took me around and helped me with all my shopping needs. I suffer from anxiety and this employee was only too happy to help me. Sadly I did not get her name, but she just dropped everything and helped me and even pointed out which til would be fastest. I have never before or since seen service like that anywhere else. Totally amazed.

Fantastic customer service because the employees actually do care about their customers and making sure Save on Foods is the best place to shop. The produce manager, Charles, is amazing and really is passionate about the product he brings in. In particular, the apples he brings in from New Zealand and other places around the world that are delicious. It's something we consumers don't think about, but Grande Prairie is lucky to have someone who cares in charge of our fruits and vegetables, who is mindful of GMO products and knows the farms where everything comes from. I shop there knowing I'm in good hands. Best place for shopping. Period.

I love the meat departments creations always sparks my imagination for supper. I hate choosing what to have for supper so it's always good to have some different dishes that I wouldn't normally have time to make myself. Produce is always fresh and the flowers are always gorgeous. They have some neat succulents as well perfect for little gifts. Those carrot nut muffins are delicious too... now I'm craving muffins... haha

The prices may not be the cheapest in town, but they have a great selection of fresh produce. More importantly, though, it somehow manages to avoid the zombie hordes of Superstore and Costco. Instead of being trapped in thick stampeding crowds, you can actually get your shopping done here in a reasonable amount of time. To top it all off, they even trust you with your grocery carts, not requiring a coin down payment to secure one.

My go to grocery store especially for delivery. Amazing staff & customer service! Pharmacy staff is also great & personable!

The prices are marginally more expensive than Super Store, No Frills, and Wal-Mart. However, the service, quality of produce, and facility are more than worth it. Very seldom are lines long, and the staff are the most helpful I've ever seen in a grocery store.

My family is definitely a Save-On family.

A pretty great place to shop at if you don't mind paying a little more for the various things you usually pick up. The real upside to the price is that it is almost never really busy here, you can run in and run out. They also have a much larger variety of healthy options apposed to your usual easy food options.

Save On foods is a wonderful place to buy my family's groceries. The staff are always friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Save On is also a reliable source of those slightly obscure ingredients that recipes require.

Bought the 1/4 chicken and it was amazing do all of my grocery shopping there and have never had a bad experience. The onion rings were a little bland for me but otherwise amazing

We shopped the special 15% day and had a great experience. We had so much pleasant help with finding things and even helping with putting things on the belt at the cashier and loading our car.

Clean store with awesome friendly staffs. They got lots of goodies in their deli and bakery sections. They always got some sales going on too
