I won't use self checkout as it takes jobs away. Pricing is a bit high! Great flower shop though!

A trip to the grocery store is a fairly repetitive, monotonous task but on my trip today multiple employees were so kind and happy that it stuck out as a great grocery trip

We spent a couple of days in GP. It was nice that Safeway provided a better price than where we live. All the produce items are fresh with tons of options. It opens until 10 PM, which is nice. Definitely will come back here to do some grocery if we ever come back to GP.

Great produce and a little bit of everything throughout the store, but gotta pay for that quality...it's an expensive store

Penny saved the day for me and was the only person I'd dealt with after trying every other store that actually helped me get what I need !! That lady deserves a raise!! Wonderful to deal with! Very knowledgeable, professional and helpful!

Quality is always top notch, shelves are always stocked and staff is mostly pretty friendly.

I normally don't shop here, but it was the closest store to the butcher and I was short for time.

I had an issue at the self-checkout and the great woman responsible for those registers was quick to lend a hand and get me on my way.

I think her name was Jenny? Kudos to the woman I think is Jenny! I'll update her name if I see her again.

Sales are definitely worth checking out there. I stop in every grocery run along with the big markets/stores and find several items for a bargain.

The deli has always had great foods as well.

People who work here are so helpful, positive, and lovely. This location is also my favorite place to pick up flowers. It also has two nearby bus stops and so very accessible to the public transport.

I like going to this store for a few things. It is convenient for where I go in GP. They have a great selection. They have great produce and fresh fruit selection. I like that there is always a till open where I can go to a real person and not have to ring my own groceries through. They have that option for those who want it.

Enjoyed the BBQ chicken & salads purchased for a quick supper. Clean & friendly staff

A great Safeway location. Very clean. The staff based on my experience are very welcoming and helpful especially those at the Deli department. The food is ever fresh.
Grocery prices are a bit over the top though when compared to some of its competitors.

Clean store and staff available to help with all requests to find items (even if not in their section).
New self check machines are coming soon!

The girl Jocelyn was a great help that lady put a smile on my face she needs a raise or at the least a pat on the back, I was grumpy when I went in nothing changed as I got my groceries, She changed that, I was smiling by the time I left. Hard to Do, make me smile, She is great her smile changed my attitude good job and thank you , I needed that.

Called about a product I havent been able to find anywhere.The person I spoke to not only checked but confirmed they had it in stock. Been looking everywhere for molasses & some places said they carried it but when I visited their store found they had none or in one instance hadnt carried it for years even though it was advertised online. But all of a sudden it's everywhere!

Definitely a go-to place to find your flowers, from early morning until late in the evening they are open for your flower and grocery getting needs. They have a decent variety at a reasonable price. The reasonable price is why I keep going back. I especially like how they have a nice variety of potted flowers as well :-)

They store is organized and set-up in a common sense way, for the most part anyway. They rotate sale items on a routine it feels like, so if you time it and with some luck you will be able to purchase most of your groceries on at least some kind of sale (ie not full price). Staff is friendly and usually knowledgeable, they are also helpful and have been very generous and understanding with me. Keep up the good work everyone at Safeway Northgate!

You usually dont need to wait in a long line up because they have enough tills open
Stuff is a little more expensive but you take the gas discount into account it evens out. They keep the snow removed in parking lot very . The store is well organized and clean. Was able to order a special icing for a birthday cake, they made it with less sugar

We do most of our grocery shopping here, great selection and fresh food. The people working the tills are pleasant. There is lots of parking and usually not a long wait in the till line. Also a great place to get flowers on a whim
