Safeway South View

I wanted to give a shout out to the staff running the flower department. My bouquet was gorgeous and fresh. The delivery was well coordinated and on time. Couldn’t be more pleased.

The produce section is always looking clean and full when I am shopping and the kind young man with the ponytail working on the day of March 17th was so hardworking and helpful.

Great staff, fresh and good selection of products, clean and easy to orient yourself around. I just wish the prices were a little lower (not the fault of this store though).

The security turban guy was very nice to me. Do anybody know his name just wants to be thankful to him, saw him on 25 feb evening

Good selection. Nice staff. They have sensory friendly nights on Mondays which is amazing. And they use scene points which can give you a discount. Just make sure you bring your own bags

Pharmacy is great, they always have all the foods I'm looking for and very friendly for the most part

Great place to shop. Lines are never long. They also have a self check out. A Starbucks is great to have there aswell and I'm also a big fan of their plants and flowers.

I come here all the time and today was amazing! Connie the cashier deserves a raise! She was so polite an kind at the till! Took her time to give me a compliment an ask me how my day was! She’s lovely, an the Safeway renovations look amazing!

15 percent off Tuesday was a successful trip. Filled the cart and thank God for savings.

I love going to Southside Safeway with my little girl because of a very nice lady named Debbie that usually works the self checkout counter. She always takes the time to talk to my 5yr old daughter and ask about her day and makes her feel so special. She always asks to go shopping here because of debbie 🙂 thank you so much for your outstanding customer service Debbie !

I like safeway but there "Hot-precooked chickens" werent available as there ovebs were not functioning but there greatest downfall is easily noticed in their pricing.
MY siggestion is to apply for a job in advance so you cam get the employee discount, that way youre only paying twice the amount you would pay at "No Frills or The Dollar store".

They take great care I love that they have a time to shop for people with migraines etc and sensory.
Even under construction it's tidy.

Nice store with a pleasant decor, nice lighting, good selection of international items (wish they had more of the European deli things), self-check outs are great and there's always plenty of cashiers. My primary grocery store.

Outstanding staff and there's so much fresh things at the bakery section of the store, and after the renovation it looks nicer (even though it was just as nice before reno's were being done) and they have great selection on produce as well.

The Pharmacy team have been awesome to deal with, wait times are low and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The rest of the store is very clean and the staff are all very kind and helpful. Gas bar, liquor store, pizza, pub etc all surround the store within a block so it’s definitely in a convenient location as well.

I want to give a huge shout out to Mic in the meat department in southside safeway, Grande Prairie. I was looking for short ribs to make a meal for my family on family day. He went out of his way to look in the cooler for me. He asked what I was making. I told him it was for a type of tacos. He suggested a chuck roast as it will shred just the same. He came out with a nice cut. I was so impressed with his service. 5 stars for Mic.

On Valentine’s Day they dedicated a till for floral along with the floral counter. What a great idea, I certainly appreciated it as the floral department was extremely busy. Good proactive thinking.
