Parkside Inn

If you just need a sleep this is one of the best inns in the grand prairie.
The room was clean and cozy. The heater worked very good. Maybe too good for me.

It is a minor thing but I have to say that I could hear water dripping sound from other unit all night long while my son heard nothing. Maybe I'm too sensitive at hearing.

The rooms have been obviously updated with wood paneling, rustic lights, and shockingly, comfortable beds. Yeah, I've had beds in rooms three times more expensive that were less comfortable. My wife even admired the room's decor, saying she wishes our bedroom looked like this. The owner was super nice and was always with smiles.

The area around the hotel isn't that great, mind you. Nearby shops are boarded up and there is a pile of garbage outside the facility, making this place a true to the word diamond in the rough.

But let me say this, being far from those damn train tracks was a godsend; I slept through the night without a peep from neighbors or traffic. Fairly certain I wouldn't get that from the Sandman.

Ultimately, Parkside was WAY better than I was expecting and it's insanely inexpensive. We wanted a quiet bed, and we got it; if that's all you need, Parkside is the place.

I work all over Alberta so I stay in hotels quite frequently. I prefer to stay away from the more expensive, corporate chain hotels and always try to find those nicely affordable diamonds in the rough to add to my list good spots in every town or city I stay in. Parkside Inn had been a very pleasant surprise. The rooms are recently updated with vinyl plank flooring, nice rustic tables and furniture, and very comfortable beds, all at a very fair price. Management has been very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be adding this spot to my list and staying here on future trips to Grande Prairie!

Probably one of, if not the most affordable places to stay. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and I didn't feel rushed to leave the next day. Room had a smart TV to cast from phone as well.

Was a very beautiful and amazing stay. Front desk lady was so very sweet and kind! Very clean and comfortable 👌
Pictures showed a mini fridge, but there was none. Not a big deal. No plug to have a bath.

New owner has updated rooms with all new beds, bedding and furniture. She ensures you have what you need. I would recommend it to any travelers looking for a clean room at a very reasonable price.

They're very strict about locals staying with them, but as long as you respect them and there rules there an amazing place to stay..
They've done amazing with the new renovations since they've changed ownership.

I just want to say that the rooms are very nice and refurbished. They even have a 55" smart tv. I enjoyed my stay there and the management were super helpful. I was even able to check in 3 hours earlier.

The owners of this hotel are the best kind of people this world has!!! My dad had stayed there for some time and unfortunately passed away. They cleared the bill for us and I couldn’t be most thankful! Hands down amazing hotel!!!

Very good motel. Clean and new renovation. I liked new bed and big tv. Very good price for traveller or oil-worker. I recommend this place 🥰

The room is clean, newly renovated and has a 55' smart TV. Staff were super friendly.

Parkside inn has become a shelter for homeless and struggling people. People trying to overcome addictions and unfortunate circumstances. Cities need more places like this
