The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Grande Prairie

The absolute best service, best meal, and best atmosphere in the city. The prime rib and ribeye were phenomenal. Don't skip dessert. Calamari and mushrooms Neptune were the perfect starters.

We come in from peace river area a few times a year for a good meal at the Keg. Unfortunately the second time in a row the prime rib was not available. We were disappointed but a great alternative was offered. We had awesome service and the manager came to see us and asked us to call in before we made the long drive and they would insure we had prime rib. They took the time and effort to make our visit exceptional. Thank you. Can’t wait for our next visit.

We had an awesome dinner at the keg! Sydney the waitress was so fun and responsive, checked in with us at the right times. Sangrias were nice and refreshing! Found the downstairs area a little warm, upstairs felt more breezy. Steak was cooked great, they were out of prime rib, but enjoyed the other options too!

Hosts were all smiles when we walked in and our server Destiny was lovely , friendly and knowledgeable. Every single one of our steaks were made perfectly as asked and absolutely delicious. Appies and drinks were top notch as well. Thank you to your team for allowing us to have such a great dining experience from start to finish with our friends !

The food was as good if not better than we could make at home.

The service was the perfect mix of there when you needed her and not when you didn't.

The whole staff treated my 6 and 8 year daughters with respect. If I could give 6 stars for service, I would.

Had the best experience from the first step inside, to the last step to outside. Everyone was friendly, went out of their way to help with any issues, gave great recommendations. The staff really knows their stuff!! The food was so good, we had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly and so tender and mouthwatering. The drinks were on point as well and I could not recommend this place enough. For dessert I highly recommend their lemon tart, by far my favourite so far!

Had a very lovely anniversary dinner out with the kids and we were treated very well. Food was top tier and my steak almost melted in my mouth. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and even threw in a very tasty slice of moca ice cream cake. Will definitely plan another night out here.

My wife and I had to leave mid-meal due to a medical emergency. I advised the staff that I would be back to pay the bill in a few minutes but was told that it would be covered and not worry about it.

All I can say is 100% class! Did not expect it, but certainly appreciated the offer considering the circumstances.

When I mentioned my Shellfish allergy, the manager,Jennifer, took every extra steps to make sure my food did not come in contamination with any seafood or shellfish. She came to see me a couple of times to explain a few options for me. What amazing service. Really made me feel safe to eat my delicious steak 🤩🙂🙌 Completely recommend this restaurant.

We picked The Keg for my birthday dinner out—and a great choice. While I went to a steakhouse and ordered the chicken, it was an amazing meal. Our server surprised me with a dessert, and brought 3 spoons. A really sweet gesture.

Food was amazing! Service was great! When our streak wasn't perfect the first time they got it fixed right away and the manager himself came and apologized. Also we got a complimentary ice cream cake for our anniversary and it was TO DIE FOR!!

We had a pre-birthday dinner. It was my first time and I am very impressed with the inside. It has a nice ambiance a small high quality menu. The manager or whoever she was gave us a free shrimp cocktail for free for being our first time. We had a nice server but I just wished she was a bit nicer, didn't interact or anything. We had nachos for starters which was better than what i have had around but i was expecting it to have a cheese sauce poured over rather than the usual grated then melt in the oven kind given that this is supposedly a fancier restaurant (and olives? Really?) then we had steak&shrimp and steak&lobster both medium top sirloin, could use a bit more seasoning and charring. We had mash and fries for sides. Mash could use a pass through a fine mesh seive for a smoother texture and fries was like mcdonalds quality to be honest. I was expecting something a bit more for both sides. Like the usual fries you get from a "fancy-er" restaurant. I think i bought a better bag of fries from Costco not gonna lie. The grilled shrimp however was awesome! Seasoned well! I like the cocktail sauce as well! We had a free dessert and i was surprised to know that there were options! Overall, i would be back again but would definitely avoid the fries and mash.

I used to work here in my early 20s and it was a fantastic place then. Hadn't been back for many years and they have done amazing renos and it's still as great as it ever was, if not even better. The best KEG in Alberta? It might be the KEG in Canada! 🙌🏽

The 6 & 8oz siroins that we had this evening were cooked to perfection and were fork tender. The sizzling shrimp was a really good appy, especially if you like peppers. The sides were also up to par as usual. It wasn't too loud in the bar section, and Destiny provided amazing service.

Excellent place for dinner! We were traveling through the Grande Prairie and I found this restaurant. I'm a meat lover and have to admit that filet mignon was incredible. Also as prime rib stake and rib on a bone! Very friendly staff and this place is awesome! Our waiter Josh was professional and very polite! Impressed with this place!

Our team celebrated our dinner event here last night. It was great food and excellent service! My wife and I went out for our date night this evening and we chose the keg as we hadn't been in awhile. The food as always was incredible. But what really made out night was our server Trey (I hope I spelled it right). He was extremely attentive and made suggestions when my wife ordered her drink. He was on top of everything while we were there. Both my wife and I were shocked when he told us he had only been serving for a month. It was by far some of the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. Trey made our night something special. I don't know if you share these reviews with staff, if you do please make sure he hears about this and let him know Kyle says thank you again!

well complimented host, conducive and favourable server, braised lamb shank meal with white wine was more than delectable, couldn’t ask for a better evening.

Fantastic experience, and one that we will talk about for a while. The service was excellent, and our dishes of blackened chicken, and pistachio salmon where both incredibly tasty!
