Budget Car Rental

I had an amazing experience with Mike from the Budget in Penticton. We were on a late flight and even though I had called and spoken to someone at the airport location they said there is no way I could get my rental when my plane landed at 7:30.
When we arrived there was a gentleman at the budget kiosk helping a lady who had a rental earlier in the day but whose flight had been delayed. He saw my reservation was for 9am the next day and understood that it was a $75 cab ride for me to Naramata and back to get the rental during their business hours. He met me at the downtown Budget and released the vehicle to me and my friends so we didn't have to incur lots of cab fees. It was a godsend. Logistically it was a huge help. He didn't have to go out of his way and he did. He is a stellar employee and totally went above and beyond. 10/10 recommend.

Lady at the desk was helpful and knowledgable, but with a small location, when the plane unloaded and a bunch of people needed to be helped another staff member would have been good.

Rental staff were pleasant and attentive, clean new cars, would recommend for your business or vacation rental

Very frustrating dealing with them. Not really into helping the customer if it means they have to do more work. Not entirely honest claiming that we couldn't exchange (downsize) our vehicle as there were none available but same cars still sitting at the lot not rented. They upgraded to another class if vehicle then insurance needed to be purchased as it wasn't covered by standard insurance like the one I requested. Bit of a scam . Buyer beware as always with Budget.
